In a contentious interview with Israeli Ambassador Ron Dermer on Friday, MSNBC host Andrea Mitchell fretted over Israeli police killing knife-wielding Palestinian terrorists: “What about the possibility of excessive force?”
Dermer responded: “Andrea, if someone was coming at you with a knife, would you want the police officer to take out a knife and to try to stop him or would you want that police officer to shoot that person before he would attack you?” Mitchell proclaimed: “Not shoot to kill.”
She then declared that Israel was “...losing the war on social media because these videos [of the police shootings] – sometimes taken out of context, I'll grant you – are going viral throughout the world.” Mitchell warned: “You are potentially inciting more violence because of these incidents and the way they are being perceived.”

Stupid bitch doesn’t understand the concept of neutralizing the threat. You don’t shoot to kill, you shoot to neutralize the threat. That normally means two shots to center mass, when shooting a pistol. The minimum response can vary between weapon systems and organizational policy.

She, I think, is referring to the training that most LEO’s receive whereby the simply shoot the weapon out of the criminals hand with a bank shot. We musta forgot.

Nothing could point out their insanity more clearly than this exchange. Self-defense and national-defense require the elimination of the threat. We don’t have phasers with stun settings. Jerichos and Galils will have to do.

Remind Andrea that it was Obama that said “Chicago rules” of you bring a knife, I’ll bring a gun” and in this case, the Palestianian attacked with a knife and got shot with a gun. “Chicago rules” as approved by her blessed bh0.

Well, we really have to agree with Andrea on this. A good cop with draw his gun, go down on one knee, roll over really fast until he is at least five feet from where he started, rise quickly to a standing position and shoot the knife from the terrorist's hand while hitting just the knife and missing the hand. It would be best if he fanned his hand gun enough for just one shot which SHOULD do the job.
We CAN get more good cops if we just have better or good training.
