Proviso – for those who know the answer right off the bat this is entirely obvious. But there are new people to the fight for our God-given and Constitutionally affirmed Civil-Rights just entering the fray and so this is for them.
So why does the #nationalSocialistLeft obsess over this issue. It wouldn’t of helped in many recent shootings so it’s a pointless exercise if it is supposed to ‘solve’ this problem. So why do the gun gabbers keep circling back to carp on this talking point ad nauseam?
It’s simple to understand if one just works backward from the gun gabber’s ultimate goal – CONFISCATION.
Side note: please don’t bore the rest of us with the tired talking point that ‘no one’s talking CONFISCATION’. His majesty Obama has already praised Australia’s CONFISCATION ‘solution’ so that ship has sailed.
Registration is One step backwards from CONFISCATION, and one cannot have Registration without Intergalactic Background Checks QED.
Parenthetically - CONFISCATION cannot take place without a list of names and one cannot have a proper list of names without the government in total control over this particular type of private property.
We know this is the ‘Fatal sequence’ (in more ways than one) that has taken place with other repressive regimes that have deprived the people of their Civil-Rights. In most cases the Registration step is accompanied by earnest promises that Registration won’t lead to confiscation.
And of course, we know from bitter history that this is a BOLD faced LIE.
And we know that there is no way to enforce Intergalactic Background Checks without Registration.
That would be the next two or three steps if they ever get IBC’s. Knowing that these won’t stop any future shootings (that’s a feature, not bug for the gun grabbers) the clarion call after a shooting will be registration.
Many will argue that Registration IS CONFISCATION since yielding control over our God-given and Constitutionally affirmed Civil-Rights effectively renders them moot and I would tend to whole heartily agree. Thus the reason that Intergalactic Background Checks are so dangerous to the cause of Liberty, and the reason we need to fight them tooth and nail.
If no one is allowed to transfer a gun, data from the Intergalactic Background Checks will tell them exactly who is armed and what they have. And it can expected that after still another shooting (Do you see the pattern here?) the call will be for people to be required to register their guns.
For once the Government become the gatekeeper in obtaining a firearm it will be a matter of time before the process is ‘throttled back’ to those the #nationalSocialistLeft deem worthy to have their God-given and Constitutionally affirmed Civil-Rights.
Thus, they have no way of knowing what guns you're "supposed" to have. That all changes if you are held accountable for documenting the disposition of every gun you ever bought.
The left has managed to put in place 7 of the 8 tenants required to make America a social state. The last and most important one to them is banning guns so we will live in a social (Police) state. They cannot control a populace that has the ability to say no.
Remember: Hillary Clinton wrote a thesis on Alinsky and obama spoke of him in his books someone ghost wrote for him.
How to create a social state by Saul Alinsky:
There are eight levels of control that must be obtained before you are able to create a social state. The first is the most important.
1) Healthcare– Control healthcare and you control the people. DONE
2) Poverty – Increase the Poverty level as high as possible, poor people are easier to control and will not fight back if you are providing everything for them to live. DONE
3) Debt – Increase the debt to an unsustainable level. That way you are able to increase taxes, and this will produce more poverty. DONE
4) Gun Control– Remove the ability to defend themselves from the Government. That way you are able to create a police state.
5) Welfare – Take control of every aspect of their lives (Food, Housing, and Income) DONE
6) Education – Take control of what people read and listen to – take control of what children learn in school. DONE
7) Religion – Remove the belief in God from the Government and schools. DONE and getting worse everyday.
8) Class Warfare – Divide the people into the wealthy and the poor. This will cause more discontent and it will be easier to take (Tax) the wealthy with the support of the poor. DONE
The supporters of “Background Checks” have repeatedly shot down any legislation that allows for background checks without identification of the firearm and with privacy guarantees for the buyer and seller.
They want to move to registration, then piecemeal confiscation, over time.
Explain it to your wives, kids, and grandkids.

This is the gun control lobby’s short term goal. Than confiscation and kick off of CWII. Although at this point things are so tense I think here in the South registration would kick it off.
And one can wager that IF they do put Intergalactic Background checks in place the next shooting will have them want to go the extra step and have 120 Million gun owners register their weapons.
For your ‘safety’ of course..

Every time there’s an article pushing Universal Background Checks, they use the “prevents mentally disturbed people and criminals from getting a gun”.
Then there’s the usual flurry of commenters agreeing with them.
At that point I pose this question: “If the real concern is to prevent nutters or criminals from buying a gun, why do they want the make, model, caliber, type and serial number of every one bought? I can buy two or more firearms with only one background check, but I have to supply the above info for each gun?”

Those ‘checks’ are supposed to be with regard to the purchaser, not the gun.
But the collection of that data puts the LIE to that.
