Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson is going after an influential U.S. Islamic group, arguing it violated the federal tax code after its executive director recently called on Carson to withdraw from the race following his controversial remarks about Muslims.
The retired neurosurgeon started a petition on Thursday asking supporters to encourage the Internal Revenue Service to take away the Council on Islamic-American Relations tax exempt status.

That’s all fine and good, but you start in with the muslim talk about this and that, your going to have obuma coming after your ‘money bags’....
Dr. Carson has certainly sharpened his message, and he's choosing real good targets.
“Even if you don’t want him as President, you have got to like what Carson is doing here.”
I do like it, very much so.
I would expect some stalling from the 0bama IRS, but hopefully this will gain currency and the pressure will build.
I sense political correctness melting away, or at least a moratorium of sorts.
Bravo Dr. Carson!
IRS, Justice... should target all anti-American groups.
I expect his poll numbers to go up now.
I can see the liberals have a meltdown about this. But even if they meltdown, it gets the idea into the public discussion.
Like, the lynch-mob will do anything about it? yeah right
Yes, you can like what he’s doing here.
CAIR is NOT an advocacy group, they are terror funded organization that gets the majority of their money from Hamas and Hezbollah
Should have been done long ago.
Yeppers, Carson should just drop his pants and let CAIR do it to him.
Being fellow hate-America suck-ups, you’d think pmsNBC could get the muzzies’ terrorist-funders name right.
“...Council on Islamic-American Relations...” - ???
vs
Council on AmericanIslamic Relations (CAIR)

I like Carson a lot and think he deserves a high place in the Trump administration.
WTG Ben
I agree with that...and I can see a good job here by Carson, I just don’t want anyone to ruin him...he is a good person...
If I were him, I would tell my ‘money bags’ if they want to say something about what they think, they should say it themselves...
Stupid stupid stupid!!!!!!
Advocating the use of the IRS to target groups is a good idea???
I will leave it at that for reflection, we want to reduce the IRS and what they do NOT amplify and codify it.
That sword has 2 edges...
Now clearing out the “layer” of the IRS in control of “compliance” (501c3 etc.) is rules based not a political tool we use as well
Take the high road, anything a Liberal says is not as it seems at first
Watch and See...
The IRS is targeting "CONSERVATIVES, TEA PARTY MEMBERS, CHRISTIANS AND FREEPERS" in general, and/or because of what Carson has done? Because the IRS is already auditing what you say.
