There was just a great moment at the House hearing gong on right now where Cecile Richards was forced to admit under questioning from Rep. Cynthia Lummins (R, WY) that although abortions only account for 3% of Planned Parenthood’s total procedures, abortions account for 86% of Planned Parenthood’s revenues:

I did some searching a couple three years back about PP and mammograms. To this day (my belief) Planned Parenthood does not OWN or OPERATE one mammogram machine at any of their facilities within this country.
Having a brochure stand in the waiting room no woman looking for an abortion ever considers is not outreach and counseling that would/could offset the millions of babies they butcher each year.
Just to confirm your story:
I haven’t had a mammogram in six years because I have no health insurance. My doctor gave me a list of places that will give them either free or at a greatly reduced rate.
PP was nowhere on the list, even though there are several of them within a short drive from me.
It was not even considered as a possibility for a low-cost mammogram for a poor widowed senior citizen.
Planned Parenthood is nothing more than the showers in Nazi Germany used to murder Jews taken to the ultimate state of efficiency and profitability. That’s what the truth is.
I suspect they are misleading in their calculations. I think it’s likely they are quantifying all their procedures and abortions count as a single procedure, while the saline bag, the needle insertion, the instruments sterilization, the anesthesia, each piece of monitoring equipment, the abortionist, each attendant and anything else used during an abortion is each also calculated as a single service.
That’s because PP owns no mammogram machines.

What you’re saying is things like “have you had unprotected sex?” or “do you think you have an STD?” as being a separate “procedure” that can be counted as part of the overall total. In this instance 2 or three questions like this would inundate the abortions that likely always follow these.
Is handing out condoms considered a medical procedure?
I suspect most of the other 14% is revenue from Pap smears. They do BOATLOADS of Pap smears everyday. I do not know if Pap smears are cheaper to have done at PP than at other providers. And I am sure that the 3% abortion claim is bogus.

Timing is everything. Can’t get any more efficient than administering the equivalent of Zyklon-B before birth.
Who is Cecil Richards? I apologize for my ignorance...I would have thought that the reporter would tell us.

Planned Parenthood is the exact opposite of their mission.
It’s a conspiracy with parents to kill their offspring.
For more than aqn hour CSPAN was down as far as the video for this hearing..
after it started to show the video again this female admitted that there is not one mammogram machine in any of the 650+ PP “clinics”

gives lists of thousands of free clinics run by government and private for poor women..
“many 1,000s of alternative health care providers...do you know of any of them that are receiving 41% of their funds from the government ?”
Maybe not each question, but remember that since PP does not do mammograms, whenever a person comes in for one, they are referred out to somebody who can do them. That referral would certainly be a calculated “service” even though they provided nothing a neighbor couldn’t do.
