This is a 3 minute video in which Joe Scarborough on MSNBC related a great story about how several years ago Trump once hired a Spanish speaking person on the condition that he learn English and he did so! The guy moved up in his oraganization. Trump said "I wouldn't say we are dealing with Ernest Hemingway, but he is doing great and it's a nice story!"

At my current job one of the qualifications was you have to speak and write English. I work in IT now, and everything is in English here.

This country was founded on English(all the founding documents), learn English or go home to your native country its simple. No more hyphenated Americans either you assimilate in the culture or go home.

I work in IT too. The head of Systems Engineering where I work speaks Mandarin. She gives presentations and engages in conversations, and no one has any idea what she's saying. Her written stuff is even worse -- I can look at a paragraphs and just have no idea what she's trying to convey. No one even tries to read the stuff she writes anymore -- instant "circular file".

But she's a civil servant with the US government, so she can continue to be a waste of space for quite a few more years.

In the private sector, this would not happen.

During my working years, HR used to send me PhD’s from Russia to interview. But they could not speak 2 sentences in English. How is that going to work in a fast paced engineering company? There was no way I could hire them.

Because it is a great story that has not been told anywhere else to my knowledge. Trump is being made to look like he hates Hispanics. This story shows quite the opposite.

Spanish isn’t so bad, its better than Arabic. I took it in HS and can still use it today. That’s the difference between the USA and several European countries who insist on a foreign language be learned and to be able to converse in it before you leave HS. LOL, Fat chance of that ever happening here with the dumb down education system we have.

It became clear many years ago academia, D.C. and MSM would like to eliminate much of white America, the English language, our history, culture, our sovereignty, borders etc.
