Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” host Chuck Todd asked Republican front-runner Donald Trump, “Can you imagine supporting or being comfortable if a Muslim ever became president of the United States?”
Trump said, “I can say it’s something that at some point could happen. We’ll see. I mean you know at some point it could happen. Would I be comfortable? I don’t know if we have to address it right now but I think it’s certainly something that could happen.”
Talking over Todd he added, “Some people have said it already happened, frankly, but, of course, you wouldn’t agree with that.”
Todd said, “But let’s get to that. Why won’t you concede that the president is a Christian and that the president was born in the United States?”
Trump said, “Because I don’t talk about people’s faith. now, in all fairness he said he was a Christian. He attended the church of Reverend Wright and so, you know, I’m willing to take him at his word for that. I have no problem with that.”

Trump's campaign manager is a fair haired boy of the GOPe. He would never do anything to jeopardize that. Lewandowski is a close, personal friend of Rance Priebus.
I think Trump is the ultimate fantasy of the GOPe. He dismantled and defanged the Tea Party and the conservative movement. They may be in for a nasty surprise when they find out he's too liberal even for them.

Instead of saying "my Muslim faith" he could have said "my presumed Muslim faith" or "the Muslim faith that some have falsely ascribed to me". But he didn't, because the context makes it evident what he meant. He didn't need to add extra words.
Actually, looking at the video, I think you have a good case. But still, if a REPUBLICAN had said those exact same words, they would still be echoing throughout the media today.

Obozo may not stick his a$$ in the air 5 times a day, but no one can deny his allegiance to all things Islam. Having been raised and mentored by communists he is most likely an atheist. So he may not believe in “allah”, but he sure as hell believes in and supports Islam’s worldwide mission. His “Christian faith” is just political positioning. Most everything he says is a lie.
He’s an atheist or agnostic who thinks religion is a fairy tale. But that doesn’t mean he can’t appreciate certain aspects of religion or religious people, as he clearly does in the case of Islam and Muslims. It’s sort of like ex Catholics who miss the beauty of the ritual even after turning against the doctrine. I would guess that Obama sees Islam as the opiate of a downtrodden people who he sympathizes with. I guarantee he doesn’t put any stock in the substance of it.
Well, the press sure covered that up well. I was completely unaware that this happened both times, and I consider myself to be a full on news junkie.

Yeah, if you look at the video without a bunch of preconceptions about Obama being a Muslim, it’s pretty clear what Obama means. People are seeing what they want to see, not what’s really there.

It’s almost likea muslim enemy has infiltrated the highest levels of our government and is has our country in a nose-dive, like a hijacker taking over a plane and crashing it.
