Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal is hoping that a blistering takedown of Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump will help lift his struggling campaign out from the bottom of the crowded 2016 field.
Jindal called Trump "unstable," "a narcissist," "unserious," and "a carnival act" during remarks at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C., on Thursday.
"I want to say what everyone is thinking about Donald Trump but is afraid to say," Jindal said before ripping into Trump.
"He is shallow, there is no substance. He doesn't know anything about policy, he has no idea what he is talking about. He makes it up on the fly," Jindal said.
Along with the speech, Jindal's campaign released two web videos mocking Trump. One is a mashup of all the things Trump has said he loves throughout the campaign, ending with an "Anchorman" clip of absentminded weatherman Brick Tamland saying "I love lamp." The other compares Trump's promises of winning to actor Charlie Sheen during the notoriously outrageous interviews the actor did in 2011.

Yah, because that's worked so well for everyone else...
*YAWN*
Is Jindal working for Jeb Bush and the GOP Elite ???
I have to say I like Jindal as a serious get things done guy.I’d like to see him debate Trump.
I guess this is the beginning of the RNC/GOPe post-Labor Day takedown of The Donald.
The Carly/Megyn shameless attempt to turn the feminazi electorate against him.
Never should have signed that ‘pledge’ Donald.
Bobby Jindal Calls Trump An Unstable Narcissist
BUT; what if; he in reality is a STABLE Narcissist?..
He’s a real conservative. Trump is a freak show conservative.
Don’t worry. He signed it, but like his bankruptcies and tax payer bailouts, like his oaths to God in his marriages, he’ll not keep the faith. He’s going to be the Perot that gives the election to libs.
He’s pretty narcissistic, but I don’t know about the “unstable” part.
I tend to think anyone who runs for POTUS is probably fairly narcissistic. You’d have to be these days.
Yep. That is the head narcissist.
“Is Jindal working for Jeb Bush and the GOP Elite ???”
There’s an interesting thread somewhere from yesterday presenting a good case that at least ten of the 17 are.
Well kiss off that cabinet position, Bobby.
I was warned abou this guy two years ago. I was told he was pretending to be American at the time and didn’t really give it much thought. I guess a guy who borrows a bpname from the Brady Bunch to make himself more Americanized and less threatening was the first sign. Looks like th mask just came off...

He must be. Because all the vapid Trumpers here at FR tell us over and over that if you’re NOT a tried and true 100% Trump fan, then you’re stupid. A Bush-bot.
Rush is reading the entire statement now.
Basically, Jindal is asking Trump to step aside so that he, Jindal, can be the bombastic, un-pc candidate. I’m sure Trump will bow to this pencil-necked geek.
“Of course thats what he is. All his supporters know it too. Thats not going to matter.”
It seems that Carson is not the only one who thinks he has a godlike ability to look deeply into a person’s heart from thousands of miles away.
What’s super-hilarious is that so many of the TDS FReaks are quite content to repeat ABCCBSCNNNBCFOX/AP headlines as fact here at FR while alleging to dislike the media’s god-king Hussein.
There’s absolutely nothing unstable about The Donald. Obviously, Jindal has never met a NYC businessman - they’re all like that. As I said, I once worked for Blackstone and the alpha males were wild! But not one of them was nuts.
What would these candidates talk about if they didn’t have Trump?
Again, if the so called conservatives in the GOP did their freaking jobs and stand up to this leftist policy avalanche in DC then Trump would be irrevelant. They haven’t done squat so most conservatives don’t see a dime’s worth of difference between the two parties and don’t have any faith in the political class anymore. That’s why Trump resonates all across the country.
