Presidential candidates Donald Trump and Ted Cruz are planning to appear together at an upcoming Capitol Hill rally against the proposed nuclear deal with Iran.
Trump announced the event during an appearance Thursday in South Carolina, saying it would be "in the next few weeks."
Cruz aides confirmed Trump's statement. They say that the Texas senator invited Trump to join him at an event sponsored by Tea Party Patriots, the Center for Security Policy and the Zionist Organization of America.
Congress is expected to begin debate on the accord when lawmakers return from recess Sept. 8
Trump, who leads most polls of GOP primary voters, called Cruz a "nice guy."
Cruz has declined to criticize the front-runner for his controversial comments on immigration or any other topic.

I’ve never even posted serious suppoort for Trump, only that their hateful personal attacks were making me like him more, but they like to bash me, so I feel honored.

Trump is said to be the master of the deal. Given the size and complexity of the primary race, a deal would seem to be in order.
Cruz is the logical choice. He gets to run as VP in ‘20. The deal sews up Texas an New York.
The event about which you speak is a projection of power by Trump/Cruz meant to threaten those that might think loyalty to Obama is no longer a virtue in the long run.
They want to make America great again...... as another Freeper put it, they offer the GREAT DEAL

I too have very limited time to post. If I had nothing to do all day but argue with Trump-haters, I would still have avoided that thread on his views re homosexual ‘marriage.’ People prioritizing that issue are like home owners arguing about their picket fence while their house is burning to the ground. There is a level of irrationality at which no amount of logic or facts will penetrate. It’s literally a form of temporary insanity.
Illegal invaders are pouring into our borderless, no-longer-sovereign country. They are perpetrating a level of destruction and lawlessness against both the US and its citizens never before seen in our history. In a very real sense the country is already gone. A country sans borders, in which the foreign invaders enjoy more rights, benefits and protections than the citizens, is already destroyed.
Unless someone can radically alter this reality, there will be no point of return. Our great American experiment will have ended in a nightmare.
Unless and until the Trump haters are able to grasp these stakes, they will continue to substitute insults for intelligence. Best, when they are in that mode, just to leave them well enough alone.

Good job. What’s been really amazing to me is watching the Trump-hating extremist FReaks here allege to support Cruz.
Then when they all went after me on another thread two days ago and started calling me a troll, it reminded me of how well the Hussein Heads like to accuse others of being exactly what they are, and just how heavily FR is infiltrated, and how desperate they are becoming.
One of my greatest wishes is that these guys prosecute the enemies of this country who have been running it all lately, and their supporters.
