When it comes to the causes of homicide among black people, there’s something a lot of black people are saying among themselves: It’s not all due to institutional racism. Few dare say it publicly, lest some animus-filled, right-wing conservatives hail you as their kind of black.
But the subject must be broached, especially now that homicides are spiking like mad in urban areas throughout the nation. If racist cops are part of an institutional threat to black people, there are also black men and women dying at the hands of people who look like them. It is the enemy within. Call out one, you have to call out the other.
In the District, there have been more than 100 homicides this year — a 30 percent increase from this point last year.
“People want to know why there has not been a clear answer given, and that’s not to say that there is an easy answer,” D.C. Council Chairman Phil Mendelson (D) told The Washington Post last week. “But first we were told by the mayor that it might be synthetic drugs or domestic violence, then it was illegal guns. . . . Layer over that changing explanations, and it gives people cause for real concern.”
People want a clear answer for what’s causing the homicides? It’s not illegal guns. It’s not the synthetic drug K2. It’s not “domestic” violence. It’s killers causing the killing — and a disproportionate number of those doing the killing are young black men between 18 and 29. They are deadly, reckless and irresponsible. They hide in our midst, growing ever more confident that you can get away with murder — especially when the victim is black.

A lot of responsible black adults are getting more frank in their assessment of their own people. I think it can be attributable to their growing certainty about what is unfolding in this country. The black demographic that doesn’t get aborted out of existence is going to be increasingly marginalized as their government falls all over itself trying to fill the country with immigrants from Latin America and Asia.
White liberals will read this...clinch their eyes shut and chant to themselves, "It's not true...it must be racism...it's not true...it must be racism...it's not true..."
This notion must be suppressed immediately! They are stepping off the plantation! Planned Parenthood is doing such excellent work among the community and the efforts to keep young, black males completely feral has had outstandingly lethal results. We must maintain the pressure so that not one escapes our benevolent grasp! (/liberal)

Note how the article starts with the idea God forbid any Conservative caucasian praise any black person. Yeah, that’s really helping, not.
Black Lives Matter chooses to focus on the tiny minority of black men killed by white cops during the commission of a crime. Yet Half of all murders are committed by young black men and most of those victims are also black. It’s as if those black lives don’t matter.
I always said obama knows his followers are suicidal and that he wanted to convert them into suicidal bombers.
Looks like obama succeeded.
It is racism. By excusing the murderers as 'victims of their environment', or 'justified in their rage' -- this brand of racism of not holding people accountable just accelerates the degradation. The Culture upholds the violent as models, and not as figures of shame and disgust.
Not shocking, really. I work in a male prison. The hatred is the same on the inside as on the out.
In the black community, parents (mothers, mainly) have not dealt with the fact that they have CHOSEN to raise their sons w/o fathers because of the monetary benefits. They pass the buck, claiming that they have no choice, but facts are more settled on the side of their not wanting the father around and most of them have children by multiple men. Who is whom’s father? Hard to tell. These guys in here love their mothers, but they HATE other men. They are really projecting the fact that they were abandoned and had no fatherly influence (or love) in their lives. Many of them have no grandfather in their lives, other than their mother’s father, if her father is still around, or she even had a father. These men have raised themselves to be a law unto themselves. That is why it doesn’t matter to them if innocent black lives are killed. In their twisted minds, there is nothing outside of their lives that matters.
Members of the Black subculture younger than about 40 have almost zero impulse control. Emotionally, they 9 year-olds; many, with guns. A majority of the problems this portion of the population deals with can be traced to an immature emotional response to the demands of adulthood.
Absent fathers and never being held responsible for their actions as children has enabled them to reach physical maturity without emotional maturity. When one is talking to a West Indian or a native of Africa, one is struck by a stark difference; those raised by two parents who expected responsibility from their children grew up to be responsible adults. American Blacks don’t display this trait.

If this didn’t wind up in a punchline of “well the white devil forced us into that attitude”...
Actually, however, white devils did BRIBE them into that attitude. Oh, we’re the new great society government! We’ll take care of everything for you. Sure. Everything like providing perverse incentives that even bigoted Negro haters had not come up with before.
Welfare politics has bribed them into what the whip and the chain and the Jim Crow system couldn’t reduce them into.
Sooo conservatives are evil racists for pointing out that blacks are killing blacks. It sure isn’t the Tea Party doing it.
Posts 15 & 16 have the answer to the young, male Black dysfunction. Liberal Democrat social policies have been harder on low income Black families than crack cocaine and K2, the effects are also longer lasting.
