The recent movement to scrub the American South of Confederate flags and names, which many view as pro-slavery symbols, has a new celebrity supporter: Julianne Moore.

The Academy Award-winning actress has teamed with movie producer Bruce Cohen in launching an online petition to change the name of J.E.B. Stuart High School in Falls Church, Virginia, arguing that the name represents a "history of racism."

It isn’t just 1861-5 that they want torn from history books. To the Left, the only American history worth talking about started with 60’s radicalism and 90’s political correctness. To hear their version of the story, Americans were just cave men with no history until radical agitators taught us about the glories of multiculturalism, feminism, and political correctness.

What a dope. Guess she doesn’t care about Robert E. Lee High School in Springfield—also part of the Fairfax County Public Schools. What about Mark Twain Middle School? Didn’t he use the n word? Then there’s Mosby Woods Elementary. They’ll just have to rename the entire area first.

Don't give them any ideas.

Whatever you do, do NOT look at her profile. It might blind you! Whew! Ugly profile!

But, but what am I going to do with all my good old movies about the Civil war?
RONALD REAGAN and RANDOLPH SCOTT in those beautiful grey uniforms!

Actress Julianne Moore: Anti-Palin, Anti-Gun, Anti-History

Julianne Moore’s life off-screen is quickly becoming a tale of everything the actress abhors. From Sarah Palin, to guns, to Civil War history relating to the Confederacy, Moore can’t keep from stating her opposition to certain people, places, and things.

Consider how Moore acted upon receiving an Emmy in September 2012 for her role as Sarah Palin in HBO’s “Game Change.” She could not even get through her acceptance speech without a cheap shot at Palin. Thus she said, “I feel so validated because Sarah Palin gave me a big thumbs down.”

I watched a movie the other night about John Brown. Ronald Reagan was in it. Actually, Brown wasn’t portrayed all that stellar a character. None of the abolitionists were actually. I think Reagan played the part of a West Point graduate who went out west & was defeated by the Indians. Actually, Jefferson Davis was portrayed as having spoken at the graduation at West Point, where Robt. E. Lee was, incidentally, the commandant before the Civil War.

I’ve been to Mount Vernon, and saw George’s Tomb. If any leftist tried to dig him up, I’d be there with a pistol ready to shoot the first person to touch his grave.

What next? Will Patrick County, VA, have to rename its county seat (Stuart)? J.E.B. Stuart was a native of the county. Before he became famous the town was called Taylorsville. I don’t know if Mr. Taylor owned slaves.

So when they erase the confederate flag and all memories of the historical figures - will that erase slavery? How can you erase one and not the other? Will blacks finally get off welfare and live the American dream? I think not.

When will blacks pay retribution to the families with fallen soldiers during the Civil War? Surely those families have suffered.

No, not the same thing at all. A spoonerism is the transposition of sounds at the beginnings of words, such as “blushing crow” for “crushing blow”.
