The media can’t stop talking about the crowds Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders is attracting. There are reports that his crowds in California and Portland, Oregon were both larger than 27,000. They breathlessly report on this, while forgetting to mention Sanders is a self-described socialist.
But what Donald Trump and his campaign has planned for TONIGHT in Mobile, Alabama could blow those numbers out of the water. Initially planning for a rally of 2,000 people at a small venue, tickets were grabbed so quickly that major changes had to be made.
Now, the event will be held in the Ladd-Peeles Stadium, a football stadium where the yearly Senior Bowl is played. More than 30,000 people have been confirmed to attend, and the stadium capacity is over 40,000. The free tickets are still being claimed at a fast pace, and show no signs of slowing down!
To put that in perspective, that’s bigger than the largest crowd of President Barack Obama’s 2008 campaign, when Oprah Winfrey joined him in South Carolina! That means this Trump event will smash through crowd records effortlessly!
With his next campaign stop being in Alabama, its only fitting that presidential candidate Donald Trump is going to rally up supporters in a jam-packed football stadium.
City officials have confirmed to News 5 the location for Donald Trumps pep rally in Mobile on Friday night has been moved to Ladd-Peebles Stadium. Its the same venue used for the Senior Bowl and University of South Alabama home games.
Its due to an overwhelming response, said Kayla Farnon, spokeswoman for the Alabama Secretary of States Office. More than 30,000 people have been confirmed to attend.
News 5 is told Trumps campaign has gone the extra mile to make the event as accommodating as possible. Parking will be free, WAVE shuttles to the stadium will be provided, and there will be concession stands for food and drinks.
Trumps campaign is fronting most, if not the entire bill for the event, including paying the overtime accumulated by Mobile city workers.

Here is a picture of the massive venue:
If they would have given a dollar each the event could have had one heck of a good firework show as well.
Not that I think Trump has too much to worry about in Mobile, but as the crowds increase in size, and as the hatred of the GOPe-RINO establishment grows, you never know when some maniac might take a shot at him.
Had it not been for Arthur Bremer shooting him in 1972, I do believe that George Wallace might have ended up the Democrat nominee and could have ‘out-Nixon’d Nixon’ and won the White House.
An extra prayer for Donald Trump wouldn’t be a bad idea.
Is anybody from here going?
He is paying for most of the event. I wonder what Booby Bernie pays for his?
On Football Friday Night?
Yes, prayers for His supernatural protection over Mr Trump, as well as any evil schemes against Trump/Trump family.
I think that reimbursing Mobile for the city workers overtime caused by the event is a classy thing.
Tomorrow I’m going to one of the Planned Parenthood Protests or PPP.
just as a reference, when bitch Clinton came to Aspen, her campaign was asked to pick up the cost of the additional security. Clintons campaign said: "f you, we don't pay for that"
Trump is awesome
That’s just nice!
God love him!
I assume that's why it's so early.
Most will make the 2nd half.
You mean, PBP?
(Planned Barrenhood Protest?)
RE: Clintons campaign said: “f you, we don’t pay for that”
Well, to quote Seinfeld’s Soup Nazi: “NO SECURITY FOR YOU!”
Sanders is drawing crowds of that magnitude??
That’s some scary sheite right there.
Everyone knows that it isn’t HISTORIC unless a Democrat does it. When a Republican does something for the first time, it is EXTREMIST or OVER-THE-TOP or maybe UNPRECEDENTED but in a bad way.
All candidates lives matter
The Dem machine has always been able to orchestrate turnouts for their candidates.
Often it’s bribed union members bused in from a distance with their pre-printed signs.
If you think The Don is gonna be anyone’s second banana, you don’t know The Don.
