Glenn Beck: Why Do Conservative Pundits Support Trump?
Glenn Beck wants to stage a conservative intervention. The former Fox News host and prominent conservative commentator is confounded that so many Republican voters are attracted to Donald Trump. And Beck is particularly bewildered by the conservative pundits who are hooked on the bombastic real estate mogul. "Why are big name 'conservatives' supporting him?" Beck asked wrote in a Facebook post on Thursday. Beck went on to name names, calling out some of Trump's biggest boosters in conservative media: Ann Coulter, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and Michael Savage.
"I am not talking about the average Joe, I am talking about Sean Hannity or Ann Colter (sic). How about Savage or Rush?" Beck wrote. "These are smart people. What am I missing? Just based on his favorability ratings he could never win in a general. Research shows that he may be near his ceiling now."

“All I can say is that is what I hear in the construction industry. Can I produce documents, no. But Im confident I know a little more about it than people from Washington state or Indiana.”
Checkmate. Game over.
+1
I watched the same speech tonight and thought it was the best he’s been. Focused, to the point, and the people loved it. As a matter of fact no one put down the speech. What I like about him is he’s real, not some phony bought and paid for politician that has to ask his handler how to answer a question.
The Charlatan Who Cried Wolf, one too many times, expects us to listen to him about Trump?
“Another good thing about Trump is that he is not a stiff. Most Republican candidates come across as if they are speaking before a board room. Trump talks to the people in a populist way, not in a phony populist way but in a way that reflects what his life has been about which is making things work and spreading the wealth by producing jobs.”
Your whole analysis here was well done.
Did he really? I turned him off years ago, but still never saw that one coming.
Checkmate. Game over.
Yep. gust-y is a great name for all of this hot air.
Not sure what that has to do with my
post but OK.
LOLOLOL!
Were gusty’s pals in the construction industry “honest,” Trump’s tarnished reputation would be known throughout NYC and featured in the tabloids!
It’s likely that Trump has stiffed contractors over the years ... for shoddy work.
I wonder about the motives of those making such charges. If it was union bias, you might have a little skepticism about those charges. You might consider your part of the country as heavily influenced by Democrats. Any Republican showing the possibility of taking the White House might want to inspire Democrats to spread gossip that is not true.
Did you even read what I posted in my original Post #15?
Here it is again:
“Senator Ted Cruz will join Glenn Beck this weekend at the U.S.-Mexico border on what Beck describes as a humanitarian mission. The Tea Party Senator will join the radio talk show host and his followers in his effort to bring soccer balls and teddy bears to illegal immigrant children.”

What’s your beef?
Specify which words you’re upset about. There are only two sentences to choose from.
“Some of the other hosts and pundits like Coulter are supporting Trump now so they can turn on him later at a critical moment for the GOPe in their quest to rig this contest so Jeb Bush wins it.”
I’m so sick of this totally irrational conspiracy theory I could puke. Go throw it past Ann Coulter herself, for her opinion of YOUR opinion.
Sounds like those contractors made some bad deals with Trump and Trump got a good deal. I heard one contractor in that 80s documentary about him saying that because he was Italian he thought it was all good when Trump said “pro bono.” Then the contractor found out after the job was complete that pro bono meant “free.” Lol. Its not Trump’s fault that guy was a dumbass.
You know, I've heard that too.
It's over for Trump.
These contractors are going to be on one of the Sunday shows I think.
It's over.

LOL. You are the master of tongue in cheek. Funny.
My beef is you and othrers using a Christian act of kindness to slam a candidate, and even Beck (who I think is bat$hit crazy) you don’t support.
It’s beneath contempt, and doesn’t speak well of Trump supporters.
Good enough?
No, that’s not good enough, either Cruz joined the batshit (your description) crazy guy who set this up or he didn’t.
It calls into question a presidential candidates’ judgment.
I’ve pointed out before that Cruz may be very, very smart, but he certainly lacks the wisdom that most of us have.

in 1981, The first thing President Ronald Reagan did on office was ‘fired ‘more than 11,000 striking air traffic controllers who ignored his order to return to work... The sweeping mass firing of federal employees slowed commercial air travel, but it did not cripple the system as the strikers had forecast.
