The hits keep on coming for the Donald.
In response to several folks seemingly misunderstanding what the 2016 GOP frontrunner said on CNN on Tuesday morning about Planned Parenthood funding, Donald Trump has issued a statement to Breitbart News exclusively that makes it crystal clear where he stands: While the organization conducts abortions, they should receive no taxpayer dollars.
That means Trump supports one of two pathways forward for Planned Parenthood: Either they stop conducting abortions, or they lose all their taxpayer subsidies.
Trump said in his exclusive statement to Breitbart News on Tuesday evening

Because every word the press utters is always the truth, therefore Trump must be changing.
They could not possibly, deliberately or accidentally, misquote him.
Spot on. He’s still formulating his policy that tells you all you need to know. Toss in the fact that it is CNN (the Clinton News Network) pitching him the softball questions and you should be running from this guy.
Trump’s to the right of Rubio on one thing, but to the left of him on everything else. It’s like Romney’s ‘seriously conservative’ line.
He’s in the race to push FReeper buttons and it’s like he formulates policy after his staff gauges the wind here.
Youre also wrong about the Kochs and the shadowsWhen was the last time you read or heard a Koch public endorsement of a candidate? In fact when was the last time you heard or read anything a Koch said? They operate the same way Soros does only for different reasons. I thought you knew that
The real question that should be asked is — abortions or no abortions — what is it about Planned Parenthood that should entitle them to any federal funds at all, any more than any number of non-profit or charitable organisations doing "good works"?
"Planned Parenthood has received federal funding since 1970, when President Richard Nixon signed into law the Family Planning Services and Population Research Act, amending the Public Health Service Act. Title X of that law provides funding for family planning services, including contraception and family planning information."
I want to give Trump the benefit of the doubt, but Reagan formulated positions years in advance while Trump is still evolving. RED ALERT, RED ALERT, RED ALERT!
Doesn’t that sound just like what Obama, Hillary! and every RINO has said on things like SSM, abortion, guns and etc.?
So giving him the benefit of the doubt I listened to the entire interview. I heard a guy who has no trouble stealing my tax money for a tax exempt (for profit in all but status) organization to the tune of $500 million. Abortions are a third of their business and Trump’s so seriously pro-life that he doesn’t have those basic stats available for a telephone interview?
He let the CNN newsreader lie about the 3% figure for abortion. Trump doesn’t know squat but button-pushing talking points and when pressed he fades.
It’s a softball interview from CNN the Clinton News Network. He goes after Rubio’s position on abortion and buys the lie that the baby risks the mother’s life. He’s still formulating a policy on women’s pay. We know that’s a lie as well. He’s all over the place.
Trump has done yeoman’s work on immigration, but he’s late to the game or out to lunch on a host of basic issues that make up conservatism. He’s not a conservative.
At best he’s a NY RINO ala Al D’Amato or Rudy Giuliani. Now that’s not the most conservative electable candidate in this primary race. Trump’s not a serious candidate and he’s no conservative.
I guess you’d be more comfortable voting for Jethro Bush, then.
You are right. It is always this nonsense. “You see you see we told you Trump is a flip flopper”. He is not a conservative blah blah blah. Twisting everything he says. I don’t fall for it. I’m still voting for Trump.
Come on and be reasonable. You know better than that. I like Walker or Cruz.
You may be right, but i think Trump’s appeal does not have much to do with his Democrat or his Republican bona fides. People seem to be getting the fact that he wants to be President no matter what.
Trump seems to want to be the Republican nominee largely because there is so much disaffection within the conservative base. But he has also made it plain that he will consider an independent run if the GOPe refuses to give him a fair shot at it. In other words, he wants to be elected on the basis of the issues he sees as currently killing America, rather than on the basis of how well he parrots the current DNC and GOPe talking points.
I dont see him being willing to go with the establishment status quo, and i think this will will help him rather than turn off one or the other sides of his current support. I could be wrong.
For the record, I’m not all in or all out on Trump at this point. But in fairness to him, he has said on several occasions in the context of the “replace” portion that he’s talking about allowing insurance to be sold across state lines.
Now, I dont know if thats the full extent of his “replace” plan, or if he has something else in mind, but he has said that repeatedly, which would be a very good thing.
And I liked Herman Cain last time and Cruz this time, but without Trump stirring the pot we will get Jethro, so what’s your point?
Their PAC activities are well known. For those who follow this stuff.
Trump’s not working for our team. His attacks on electable front runners is part of the Hillary! playbook. He’s a Trojan Horse. He’s served our purposes. The longer he stays in the worse he makes our opportunity to win.
We needed Trump’s comments on immigration. Got it and now the nations moved our way.
We don’t need him on the pro-life fight, smaller government fight, lower taxes fight, Bill of Rights fight, Democratcare fight, etc. He’s a major distraction now. He’s a caricature and he hasn’t done enough to go after Democrats at all.
Trump and Cruz are a tag-team. Watch for it.
So I have to pretend he didn't say what he said a week ago?
I am curious to know how does it feel when your superior conservative candidate is beaten by a buffoon in EVERY POLL out so far, with no exceptions.
That's not true, although he does lead most polls. I'll be honest, it feels a bit frustrating watching a bunch of dolts following the latest personality cult.
If I was the candidate, and couldnt beat a buffoon in any of the 25 polls, I would be giving up, because I hate being thrashed by a buffoon.
President Giuliani agrees with you.
He said what he said, and your condescending spin can't change that.
It’s a trap. Watch for it.
I can’t believe you can sleep soundly after being beaten by the “buffoon” in every poll after poll. Are you some type of masochist?
GeronL? Is that you?
So non-profit hospitals shouldn't be paid if they treat a Medicare patient?
