Ok, 3 shots in the middle of the night and a neighbor is going to call the cops but it wasn’t the cops so the homeowners reported themselves to the authorities. They could very well both be in jail today for that. Whatever happened to Shoot, Freezer and Shut up? Bet all that bear meat was wasted by the “Conservation” officers.

Good hide for tanning... good meat to eat... and bear grease tastes good on just about anything. Rendered bear fat will take alot of ‘gamey’ out of any meat.... even makes nutria rat palatable.

And, for being a good watchdog, I would make sure the dog gets a big chunk of the liver and, if it was a male bear, toss him the testicles as a snack. Dogs love testicles from all creatures. At least mine do.
