Revolutions. How times have we heard that revolutions have been carried out for less than what Washington has forced on us? The organization that is nominally on our side is just as corrupt.

Donald Trump is the revolution. He must go after the nearby corruption before tackling the state, just as Jesus the Jew attacked his priests before taking on Rome. Our founding fathers had to deal with colonial loyalists, while fighting the British.

Revolutions are messy, difficult to watch. The Weatherman of the 1960’s and 1970’s were vile and violent, then went dormant, then attained power in 2008. We don’t have that kind of time.

Today, we have the vile, without the violence. Our revolution is peaceful, but at times ugly and disconcerting; a small sacrifice for major change.

Trump knows this, and is not going anywhere.

6. Is successful and will know how to deal with China and Mexico and not back down
7. Is successful in business so he'll make the economy prosper

I have found, in the school of hard knocks, that people often do not reject God as much as some religious caricature of Him.

But let’s assume the worst, he is an agnostic who is only out for himself. Can God raise such a person up to speak truth to power when the people called by Christ’s name will not?

Forget it. You can’t help them. There’s a certain portion of people on each political wing who are a messianic cult waiting to happen.

So along comes a known Democrat and insults the press and the establishment and a cadre of frustrated conservatives anoint him savior of the country, complete with allusions to the New Testament.

This, for a man who’s publicly advocated, for example, nationalizing the entire health care industry.

Come back in a few months. There’s a lot I don’t understand about politics but one thing is metaphysically certain: Don Trump is not going to be the President of the United States.

I suppose there have to be populist delusions every few years.
