Bingo! Any “smart” network should realize that ratings are all that counts (+ $).

Some like MSNBC allow ideology to blur their message and they are losing audience share (- $).

I vote for return(?) to objective, honest journalism, news separation from management as advocated by Sharyl Attkisson, and not worry about bottom line. Viewers will then find you.

Ratings were only part of it.

They were doing the bidding of the RNC.

The primary goal was ratings but the secondary goal was to put Trump in his place and to shine the light on a more establishment candidate—Bush or Kasich preferably.

Look who got the most time. Trump (11+ minutes to hopefully hang himself), Bush (8+ minutes to reinvigorate his sagging candidacy). Everyone else got several minutes less than Bush.

It was an embarrassing joke.

Megyn left details out of her question which would have been favorable to Trump, so maybe she should apply to MSNBC for a job, because the behavior indicates that.

Trump's blood out of 'whatever' remark was tacky. If he'd have left it at, "Blood coming out of her eyes", 90% of the people would be with him.

I do not think Megyn should moderate future FOX debates because of mocking religion questions directed at Cruz, and Walker. Mimi-Stephanopolous I thought we were avoiding when FOX was doing the first debate. By the next FOX debate Trump may not be involved. Perhaps have Laura Ingraham or Greta Van Sustren replace her...

Time to dig up Megyn Kelly (Kendall) divorce records and return the favor.

As usual, Levin is spot on.

I was surprised to hear Chris Wallace mention last night that they had received blowback from the debate. You know if he is mentioning it, it is BAD.

I couldn’t resist, I checked what Mygyna was doing on her show (about ten seconds) and what was doing?...holding another Luntz type bench full of morons Q’s and A’s.

Kelly's snarky question clearly crossed the line. It was obvious she had a personal bone to pick with Trump.

But there were a few too many "gotcha" questions to other candidates as well. Scott Walker, who really didn't get much talking time, was assailed because despite an outstanding record during his four years, his prediction of job growth wasn't reached. That question happens to be one of the regular Dem talking points here in Wisconsin. The unemployment rate has dropped, but "YOU DIDN'T CREATE AS MANY JOBS AS YOU SAID YOU WOULD!!!!! WHY NOT????? HUH....HUH????"

I thought Walker did a good job of keeping his cool and just said he'd rather be known for aiming high even if he didn't quite reach his goal.

A better question would have been:

Gov. Walker, are you satisfied with your economic agenda in Wisconsin despite not having reached your target of jobs created?

There were simply too many snarky questions to all candidates. There were some legitimate tough questions, and the candidates have to be prepared for them.

I totally agree with Levin.

They way this so called debate was handled was a great disservice to the voters.

Kelly is not the only one to blame. All three moderstors behaved in a cheesy way.

These candidates had one minute to react and explain the attacks on them. Not enough time to provide context.

Next person up for FOX to annihilate is Ted Cruz. That started this morning. They have a big push on for Rubio, so they used a clip of Ted Cruz talking about how most on that stage were pushing amnesty. Cheap shot because Cruz was not also on to point out to Rubio that he was exactly FOR amnesty. No mention of the gang of 8 or his collusion with Chuck Schumer. Rubio sat and lied to Rush Limbaugh on his show about that Immigration bill not being amnesty. He also lied this morning. This tells me Rubio is not mature enough to be President. His ambition outweighs his proclaimed principles. Folks, FOX is not election headquarters. It has never been good at election coverage. They are merely a tool for the ruling class. FOX is circling the wagons to justify some pretty cheap behavior on the part of it's anchors. Those anchors are every bit as full of themselves as they accuse Trump of.

Fox News has proven to me that it nothing more than a shill for GOPe. As far as their rating s go I can do without them AND WILL! There is more real news on One America News than you can find on the new CNN called Fox News.

Now we need to get OAN on regular TV to let the people of this country really know what is going on.

Mark Levin should have been on the dais, along with:

Dr. Walter Williams, Dr. Thomas Sowell, Dennis Prager, Michelle Malkin to name a number of folks with the gravitas for the task.

Feel free to add you own recommendations...

How can anyone believe there are two parties. All of the media and politicians follow one script. The rest is for popular consumption

Duncan does a good job in reporting Levin’s reasoning on why the Fox hit job was done
Here’s the rest of the story
Mark Levin spent the first 45 minutes of todays broadcast explaining just how Fox agenda driven debate moderator Megyn Kelly sand bagged Trump .

She took an episode of the Apprentice (6) and twisted a completely innocent comment by Trump claiming it was a lewed inuendo.

Kelly set this up by first portraying an exchange of a highly personal attack Trump responded to with alledged woman demeaning remarks from and directed to The View’s Rosie O’Donnell without citing the circumstances.

All designed to portray Trump as some kind of a presidentially unqualitied misogynist but if you’re accused of rape it’s OK

EVERYONE should be attacking FOX because, as far as I can tell, not one of those a-holes asked one question about how a republican president would be better/different than what has been in the white house for the last seven years.

Everybody has extremely thin skin all around, Trump most of all. Amazing that Levin and Trump cheerleaders think tough questions about offensive things said in the past are over the line. Just wait until Hillary minions start in.

I’m more than happy to contribute to Fox’s ratings— downward, that is. I’ll only watch Hannity— Greta comes on too early. Otherwise sayonara Faux News.
PS. Replace blonde bimbo with Laura Ingraham and I’ll reconsider that time slot.
