Bin Laden blasts US for climate change
CAIRO – Al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden has called for the world to boycott American goods and the U.S. dollar, blaming the United States and other industrialized countries for global warming, according to a new audiotape released Friday.
In the tape, broadcast in part on Al-Jazeera television, bin Laden warned of the dangers of climate change and says that the way to stop it is to bring “the wheels of the American economy” to a halt.

IMHO
I see 2 major factors motivating the left wing nuts on this.
1. They can make money from it. (Solyndra, Al Gore and his carbon credits, etc.)
2. Actual fear of rising ocean levels. I have watched several talks/lectures on the subject. They all drag out Bangladesh and crocodile tears for the “poorest among us” but what they are really concerned about is the beach front property of the rich, i.e., themselves.
