House Speaker Rep. John Boehner (R-OH) had been planning to call up on the House floor last week a measure from Rep. Mark Meadows (R-NC) that would have removed him as Speaker of the House if it succeeded—intending to embarrass Meadows—but abandoned the plan after his entire leadership structure learned that they did not have the votes to re-elect him as Speaker before the August recess.
“[House Majority Leader Kevin] McCarthy was making phone calls—he was whipping it—and so was [House Majority Whip] Rep. Steve Scalise (R-LA),” a senior conservative movement leader who’s had many personal and direct discussions with various House GOP members about this told Breitbart News in an interview last week.
“I know members personally who were called by Steve Scalise. So they had the entire leadership whip team frantically making phone calls to members to whip the vote because they wanted to attempt to embarrass Meadows and call the vote [on Wednesday last week] so it’s not hanging over Boehner’s head.
“What they found out was the exact opposite. They found out bad things would happen, that literally they would be calling the vote without knowing what would happen. Therefore, they did not call the vote and now they have this issue hanging over John Boehner’s head for the next five weeks.”

Boehner’s punishing of people that disagree with him has gotten out there. They are brave enough to talk about what he does if you don’t vote his way. The people don’t like this and are becoming informed.
These people can fight a delaying action, but I do believe that he hand writing is on the wall. They may delay it for 5 to 6 weeks,but when they return on their summer vacation, there will be an election that will throw BOEHNER out. Oh he can run for election again in 2016, but he’s not going to run as HOUSE SPEAKER. Maybe he’ll just retire and not run for election. All the better for all of us.

Boehner came to power by being the mastermind behind ousting Newt as Speaker. My bet is he’s hoping the heat dies down before they came back from recess. Boehner is all about power and he doesn’t care who or what he has to betray to keep it. He may be gone this time but it would surprise me and it would take getting someone in as Speaker besides his little buddies. We need a solid Conservative who’s been consistent. Duncan-TN comes to mind. But I wish he had stepped up and taken Alexander or Corker out of the senate their last elections.

Something has to give. We certainly ARE witnessing history in the making. It seems the Republic is at the very edge of cliff, teetering there, clinging on to the dried out, remaining exposed roots of the very principles that this nation is built upon, as a sociopathic drunk keeps making deals with those who wish to destroy us.
There are still a limited few, who appear to care enough to say “Not on my watch!” to those who wish actively participate in the destruction of the United States through a fraudulent legislative process.

It’s devolved into a top-down organization and power is being used in ways that’s not conducive to a representative democracy.”
Imagine how crazy that would have been. Allowing people to vote before you knew the outcome.

It is common knowledge in the business community in Cincinnati that Boehner cheats on his wife. This is no doubt part of what Obama has been blackmailing him with, unless there are financial wrongdoings and/or messing around with boys.
Time to get it all out in the open, end the blackmail, and end Boehner’s career, for the good of the country.
BTW: John Roberts: EVERYBODY knows about your illegal adoptions, so it’s time to stop letting Obama dictate to you, too.
Or the RINO Establishment could just do what they did for President in 2008 and 2012 and support the Democrat. Here’s hoping Rep. Meadows doesn’t ease up one bit in trying to oust the Weeping Boner.
Actually, it seems like Congress is becoming informed.
Trump has made clarity and honesty rewarding again. Congress grouses and grumbles occasionally, but it seldom bucks leadership to the point of ousting the leader. They are polling differently now. I do think it is a page from the book of Trump, myself. Hope it holds.
