Full Title: Ferguson, Mo., names black officer from Arizona as interim police chief days before Michael Brown death anniversary
Officials in Ferguson, Mo., have hired a black police officer from an Arizona department to serve as interim police chief, just days before the first anniversary of Michael Brown’s shooting death at the hands of Officer Darren Wilson.
Andre Anderson, 50, will take over as the suburban St. Louis department’s chief after spending 24 years with the Glendale, Ariz., police, where he rose to the rank of commander. In 2013, Anderson was a finalist for the police chief’s job in Casa Grande, Ariz., according to The Dispatch.
"There's a lot of work to be done," Anderson said during an introductory press conference Wednesday morning. "I'm ready to roll up my sleeves and get to work, and I appreciate this opportunity."
Brown’s Aug. 9 slaying set off months of protests and anger that percolated into the ongoing “Black Lives Matter” movement, which has taken aim at police agencies around the country for the high incidence of blacks killed at the hands of law enforcement.

Thank God he has the right skin color. That’s the important thing.
One of his first actions should be to reinstate Officer Darren Wilson, who was falsely maligned and hounded into resigning for what three different investigations (including one by the Obama/Holder DoJ determined to be an appropriate use of lethal force.
Justice demands no less.
For his sake, I hope he knows that he’s going to find both the natural atmosphere and the political atmosphere very different in Ferguson than it is in Glendale.

So that’s what I heard...the sucking sound of Ferguson MO circling the drain ever faster. I feel sorry for the unfortunate home and property owners that didn’t figure it out sooner so they could get out.
I would say that Affirmative Action got him the job.
But seriously. This is Ferguson. Nearly a year later and NOBODY has taken the job.

In the 70's, as an NCO, I had good camaraderie among minority NCO's and most minority EM.
There was that one or two lower EM that had attitudes like you mentioned.
It appears Hope & Change has brought worst race relations everywhere.
