the Iran Nuclear Agreement Review Act that Sen. Bob Corker (R-Tenn.) negotiated with Obama guarantees that the Republican Congress will give its stamp of approval to Obamas nuclear agreement with Iran.
Worse, it gives Democrats political cover by allowing them to vote against the Iran agreement without actually killing it so they can say they opposed this disastrous deal without actually delivering an embarrassing defeat to their president.
Instead of requiring that Congress vote to affirmatively approve the Obama-Iran agreement before it can take effect, Congressional Republicans agreed to move forward with a resolution of disapproval which allows the agreement to take effect unless it is disapproved by Congress.
...
Democrats who need political cover to vote no will be released by their leadership to do so, so long as their votes dont jeopardize the final outcome.
The resident will prevail, and Democrats like Sen. Chuck Schumer will be able to say they opposed their president and stood with Israel when they really didnt.
...
This week, the Obama Administration cut a deal that will pave the way for an Iranian nuclear bomb. But weeks ago, Congressional Republicans cut a deal that paved the way for Obamas disastrous nuclear agreement with Iran.
So lets not pretend the Congressional debate over the next 60 days is anything other than a farce.

There is no Constitution only “feelings” and “expression of one’s identity”.
the stupid party strikes again.
the republican party really needs to go the way of the whigs.
i can’t believe how much my opinion has changed in just 27 years since George HW Bush started this downward spiral, but the republican party is now the enemy, not the answer.
Kick backs and bribes from George Soros and pals.
>> what the heck could motivate the House and Senate leadership to agree to such a deal?
As I interpret this does “yes” mean “No” and “No” mean “Yes”?
Nothing like confusing the politicians who already have problems representing the rest of us.
..... Me thinks there are shadowy skeletons that dwell and haunt the dark corners of our elected ones.
AND who is surprised??? They were elected to change what he was doing to this country. All they have done is give the dims a super duper majority of 450-something in the House.
Well, what would be the difference if we did? Jonbon and mitch CAMPAIGNED on working with Barry after all. Might as well avoid the lesser evil and go straight for the regular evil. Which in reality is no more evil than the GOP.
Prior to 1913, there was no federal income tax. The states had rights and representation in Washington, D.C., there was no Federal Reserve Bank, and the federal government lived under the enumerated powers afforded within the U.S. Constitution. What a difference one year can make ...

that vote of Congress was itself violative of the constitution’s treaty powers clause
and blatantly treasonous under the circumstances of Obama’s impending Iranian IslamoNazi Nuclear Attack Force Enablement deal
Hey - at least they got the Confederate Battle Flag to be taken down.
We’re all diverse and happy and politically correct. What more can anyone want?
I believe it is worse than that. Corker is the former mayor of Chattanooga if memory serves me. Think about that for a while.
Very little if any.
Jonbon and mitch CAMPAIGNED on working with Barry after all.
Yep. But accepting what is available and pulling for the other team ain't the same thing.
At least not in all cases.
Supporting Skeletor is not the same as supporting Eternia
even when your village gets burned down.
Yes, your village is burned down, but you have tee-shirts and stuff saying you weren't for Skeletor.

That’s the truth of the matter. Thanks for the reminder.
Today’s GOP leaders are the Washington Generals of politics. They put on a good show pretending they want to beat the Democrats and then laugh all the way to the bank
after the game.
Did anyone really think the Republicans were going to stop this train wreck?
I was 100% certain they would not.
They fight for absolutely nothing.
Except going after conservatives in their own party.
To hell with all the we gotta stick together bs people out there. They are not with us. We have no representation. Even if they believe what we believe they are not fighting for it, so it’s effectively no representation by default.
Wow. The Repugnant party was so pathetic beginning with Bush 1 that the Rats infiltrated our ranks and ran for office. And won. Amazing.
The perfect analogy.
I am reminded about not living on ones knees. Dem or GOP thats where we end up. When we knowingly vote to live on our knees, we pretty much forefit the right to complain about our choice to do so.
At least thats they way it worked until 2008
Difference is every adult who gives them their money, knows the Generals never win, that that’s how the show always unfolds.
I had to do an adoption case once where a Harlem Globetrotters player fathered a Son of Obama with a young (underage) fan after the game and the child was put up for adoption. Probably would be a big scandal today, but 30 years ago such things were handled quietly.
