2:52 Video (first 2:00 on Walker)

"Chuck Todd says that for some voters, having a president who didn't attend an Ivy League university would be a breath of fresh air, so what do they think about Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, who never finished his college degree because he got a good job in his senior year? "For the voters that this matters for, he was never going to be their first or second choice anyway."

Also mentioned in that segment is Walker's Iowa schedule.

More on that outlined in this article:

Doggone, did Chuck Todd say something right? Wow.

I said from day one that this would work to Walker’s benefit on net....and it will...for just the reason Todd says...people obsessed with academia are not Walker’s voters in the first place.

Those people won’t vote for Cruz either. Or any Republican.

Yeah, we’ve seen the Ivy League stamp on America in recent generations... and it really doesn’t work out that well. I’d much rather have someone in the WH with some practical WORKING knowledge of processes and solutions.

He would not be one of their first 7000 choices.

People who get hung-up on effete Ivy League degrees are all Democrats.

That’s the thing about most voters & most candidates: some 90% of voters already know how they’re going to vote. Oh, there may be a fluke that changes a few minds under rare conditions, but most just aren’t going to vote for “the other guy” nor “those also-rans”, leaving them to vote (holding one’s nose if need be) their favored party ticket. Most of the campaign blather is for naught, little more than ensuring the base bothers to show up; likewise, voters who care about X wouldn’t have voted for Y anyway.

It’s something like just 5% of voters who really make the decision.

A business contact of mine in New Jersey had a wife who was a nurse in a local hospital. The local hospital brass got all impressed and pleased with themselves after hiring a doctor who had gone to Harvard. “Oh, wow, look at us, we have a staff surgeon from HAAAAHVAHHHD!”

According to his wife this guy was a complete incompetent boob. All of the nurses and interns were running around all day trying to cover his many mistakes. “I swear he is gonna kill somebody!” she’d say.

Most degrees aren’t worth the paper that they are written on.

The religion of Humanism, which expresses itself politically as “liberalism”,

demands that the more advanced, elite humans rule over us, the less enlightened, and therefore incapable of making decisions in our own lives.

They don’t seem to get the economic reality that it’s an INFORMATION problem, not an INTELLIGENCE problem, that makes the seemingly intelligent leadership make the wrong decisions all the time.

Exactly. Someone recently expressed concern that Walker might not understand global warming and insisted that a president must have a degree. The person being critical had an off brand non-science degree which made them look like an idiot. Unfortunately, no one noticed.

Years ago, I worked with a contractor who headed up a big contract in Fairfax. At some point, it went into a major shift and he had to hire up fifty new employees....but four of them had to be PhD types. He argued about this but the gov’t put it into the contract, so he hired the PhD guys and each got a private office, with a private secretary. Over the next couple of years....nothing productive ever came from any of the four...strangely enough.

As far as the world of ACADEMIA is concerned, I see a wounded United States of America infested with the products of said Academia who hold countless positions of power.
Sadly I see, daily, the chaos resulting from the pronouncements, theories and thoroughly ignorant actions of these “Best and Brightest.”
I stress “ignorant” because even though the ACADEMIC may know everything of nothing important, he/she is thoroughly IGNORANT of the realities this world.
From them come the theories that work perfectly every time in the conference room, but fail when confronted with the realities of the world as it exists.
Give me a choice between a college dropout like Walker and a person with a PHD in “Nothing useful” and my choice is obvious.

Indeed.

The public has been conditioned and react to others’ appeals to “authority” - as if someone’s position or credentials made them correct (or honest) and unassailable.

The “education” system was destroyed..... (Ivy Leagues were first to be taken over by hard core Marxists in the 30s).

As GK Chesterton stated in the early 1900s—”mandatory” education was created to destroy the Common Sense in the common man.

The Robber Barons hated the classless American people, where really poor people could rise and become millionaires and be beyond their control. The Rockefeller’s and Rothschild’s, etc. took over all the institutions (press/colleges) to destroy true Wisdom and “education” by putting in “social studies” and destroying Classical Education for the masses (they just kept it for the few elite schools—for their kids).

Thomas Sowell has written books on the idiocy of the intellectual “class”-—those with PhD’s who live in their own utopian world that has never worked and has killed millions being tried.

Dennis Prager has stated the same thing-—that the more “education” (indoctrination)-—the stupider the person.

My grandfather got kicked out of school at 13 and never went back....he was the most BRILLIANT man I knew....NO brilliant minds of the 18th Century went to indoctrination systems-—only tutors, tiny classes and lots of READING only——like with Lincoln—INDIVIDUALISM-—and education came from INSIDE the PERSON and from reading the Great Books and the BIBLE was the basic one. Christian Ethics is the most Just and brilliant in the history of man and basis of the US Constitution. That is why Christianity worldview has to be destroyed-—to destroy individualism in children, to destroy virtue, which will collapse culture.

We need to destroy the satanic indoctrination of our children....NOW. Homeschool. Get children OFF of the TV/movies/artificial screens— which embeds conformity, dehumanizes, and destroys the integration of the brain (shuts it down, along with creativity and individuality).

Get small local groups to set up “education” and get the original McGuffey Readers. Make sure your young children are great readers and give them quality reading material-—not the neo-Freudian stuff which puts their minds into the sewer (like Bluest Eyes where father rapes little daughter)..

Get original source materials-—not Zinnean biased, neo-freudian (sexualized) cr(p-—and burn all the “textbooks” which are embedded with he psychology of Wundt/Watson and other irrational atheists who think children are godless animals that need to be herded and controlled and culled.

Libido Dominandi-—the easiest way to collapse culture and destroy Virtue in children is by hypersexualization——sexual liberation will collapse any “civil” society and destroy all the children born into such a Weimar Republic or Sodom. That is why they had to force homosexual marriage-—to force perversions into ALL the minds of ALL the American children.

They need to corrupt the children—destroy normal sexual identity formation (Innocence is crucial) by putting perversions into the minds of the young (like they do to the Afghani harem boys) so that those children will be incapable of a Christian worldview.......just will have tribal minds—easily controlled.

If you don’t like the Ivy League Stamp, you wouldn’t vote for Cruz (Princeton undergrad, Harvard Law School) either.

Who, in the Republican field has a “ WORKING knowledge of process and solutions”? Even Walker, the sole non-college grad (Walker) was a college drop-out and a politician his whole life. Not a lick of working in a real job, only a life of living off the government teat.

He worked his way through college and has worked for IBM and the Red Cross.
