This might take the cake for unscrupulous politicking. The guy's city's own ordinance on being a "sanctuary city" directly leads to this murder but he takes the time in his official statement to blame Republicans for blocking immigration reform. Wow...

Reagan did “comprehensive immigration reform” but the lieberal reneged on the border controls, just like they’ll do again if we give them what they want.

Mayor, Obama had a majority in both houses of Congress during his first two years in office.
Tell me again how this is a Republican problem. I’d really like to hear you explain that one in detail.

What a nonsensical statement.
So, giving this guy amnesty would have made him legal, but the lady would still be dead.
Removing these threats to citizens is the answern not inviting more with another amnesty.

Our sanctuary policies should not create a safe harbor for convicted, violent felons. But it does..I want to pour gasoline over my fire pit and light a match and tell it not to ignite..but it does!!!!!

Again, San Francisco county sheriff Ross Mirkrimi is responsible for releasing this loser onto the streets. No one or nothing else is to blame.

Even after repeated attempts by President Obama and Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi to reform our immigration laws, Republicans in Congress have blocked those effort..Considering the back stabbing treasonous RINOs we have in Congress I wouldn't doubt it. The only person supporting what Trump said is Ted Cruz, the rest of them are no different from every leftist calling him a racist.

Edwin Lee has blood on his hands because of his sanctuary city as well as 0bama for his catch and release policy for illegals and allowing sanctuary city status to exist.

...leaving cities and local municipalities to act upon immigration issues that affect its residents. Arizona also tried to have "cities and local municipalities to act upon immigration issues that affect its residents," but Eric Holder sued them to stop it.
So tell me, Mayor, what makes San Francisco so special that you are "allowed to act upon immigration issues" while Arizona is not?
And don't blame Republicans; it was Democrats who stopped Arizona.

>>ensure cities arent forced to make and enforce immigration law<<
Silly me, I thought Congress made laws. BTW, isn’t current immigration law The Law of the Land? It’s settled then; EVERYONE must obey the law.
How about a sanctuary city where laws are obeyed?
