All four of the Democratic candidates for president have expressed support for sanctuary cities, a controversial policy that is being blamed for the recent release of a five times-deported illegal alien who allegedly murdered a woman in broad daylight in San Francisco.
As a senator from New York, Hillary Clinton, the Democratic frontrunner, twice made public statements backing sanctuary cities. In 2008, she and two other Democratic candidates, Vermont U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders and former Virginia U.S. Sen. Jim Webb, voted against an amendment that would block federal funds from going to sanctuary cities. And last year, as governor of Maryland, Martin O’Malley announced that the Baltimore city jail would stop honoring requests from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to hold illegal aliens until they could be deported.
Sanctuary city policies, which are on the books in about 140 cities, are coming under scrutiny following Wednesday’s shooting death of 32-year-old San Francisco resident Kate Steinle. …

You would think that normal folks would realize that they are endangering the public with their actions but the Government of these States seem to think that it is better to cow to the emigrants regardless of the laws that they break. Maybe they just don’t believe in law and order anymore?
I sure know that I would not want to live in any state that treats illegal citizens as better than their own citizens and don’t even enforce laws against them, much less visit as a tourist! This is absolutely insane actions by idiotic government! Long live California as it decays into Chaos!

Generally, it’s countries like Bolivia or Peru that would be into sanctuary locations....so if you want to be a third-world country pretending in this philosophy leading you somewhere....well....just act like like Paraguay.
At some point in the whole immigration game....there’s paperwork. The minute you admit that one particular society or culture is more favored in the immigration game than another....you’ve created a bogus factor. Sadly, you can’t explain this...with a straight face or without grinning as you try to avoid the whole story.

Some fence sitters in electorate-land might decide they find Jim Webb and “acceptable choice” for moderates, however, his Senatorial voting record from his stint in Virginia says otherwise. His more recent rhetoric notwithstanding, Webb was an enthusiastic supporter of Obamacare, Cap-and-Tax, both money-wasting stimulus packages, homo “marriage” and every other liberal cause. He can never be trusted.
If a city can refuse to enforce a federal law why can’t another city refuse to enforce any other law it chooses?
So they would support “sanctuary cities” where DeathCare doesn’t apply, where the Second Amendment is not infringed, where homosexual marriage is not permitted, WHERE THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT IS NOT ALLOWED TO ENTER.
Colorado flaunts federal laws on marijuana - no consequences. California, New York and others do not obey federal immigration laws - no consequences. On the international front, North Korea doesn’t back off its nuclear program - they are rewarded. Iran won’t back off its nuclear program - they are rewarded. Russia, Cuba, China and others don’t back down on their positions - they are rewarded.
Isn’t it about time Conservatives fought back with “sanctuary cities” of our own? Start small and let it grow. I myself live in an unincorporated area, so it won’t work here.
