The iconic 1945 photo of Marines raising the American flag over Iwo Jima has been recreated with the gay pride flag.

The recreated image shows four muscular, skin-baring men raising a rainbow flag in place of the Marines and the American flag.

My father was on Iwo Jima, God rest his soul. What an insult to his service to our nation.

This photo has been around for years. If we had become sufficiently outraged about it at the time, perhaps this recent result would have been different.

Now the demented freak that took this indescribably offensive photo is playing the victim because people are angry.

I think that rainbow photo was made ten years ago. Or that’s what I read earlier. No matter. It is an insult. :(

They take pride in sin and the mental illness that causes at least half to attempt suicide.
They will never be considered NORMAL because they are not.
The Old Testimate refers to them as the worst thing before God.

Look, this is a concerted effort to tear down conventional, societal norms.

It is now a full-frontal attack. There has to be resistance.

No respect.

And again, the omission of any women in this disgusting display is proof once again this is about the licentious, vicious, anti-woman nature of gay males. Women need to wake up. Why is it only the most radical of feminists who get this???

Comparing sodomites fighting a political battle with the men who fought and died for their freedom is disgusting.

BTW four of the men in the Iwo photo were dead two days later

The really, really sad part of this is that none of these perverts have any idea what it really cost the Marines to plant that flag. They can falsely empathize with their ‘struggles’ but NONE of that amounts to what that flag cost the Marines there. EVERY serviceman who ever served, serves or thinks about serving should be insulted by this. Goddam freaks.

They are going to keep doing sh*t like this until they are forcefully dissuaded with baseball bats.

Baseball bats are OK, but there really nothing like a nice piece of hickory.

At the risk of implying that I’m one of the “sick bastards” in any way, I notice the rock in the lower right corner of the “sick bastards” photo. I suppose it reminds these “sick bastards” of their true objective and what they excel at.

The usual subversion of existing order. Nothing new or creative.

I doubt any of the men who actually raised the flag on Mt. Suribachi would have agreed with this perversion of their accomplishment, but of course none of them are still alive to offer a comment.

Of the seven in the original picture, three died in combat within a few days of the flag raising.

Well, at least this photo is fake, and one could argue “protected” under the guise of free speech or whatever. What was decidedly more offensive, at least in my mind, is when the current morons occupying the white house decided to turn the rainbow colored lights on. That, pissed me off.

Flash back to 1979. We are on our Senior trip to New York and the D.C. area. We've spent the whole day on a hot school bus touring monuments.

We are all hot and tired, and I can guarantee that much of the experience of the day (including Arlington and the Tomb of the Unknowns) was lost on a bunch of snotty 17 and 18 year olds.

For me, that all changed about 2pm as the bus stopped in an indescript area and we got out and walked. And walked. The Iwo Jima monument moved me beyond what I thought possible, and I suddenly "got it". I regret not having had that moment earlier in the trip so that I could have had better appreciation of what we had seen previously.

Seeing this rainbow abomination boils my blood.
