Just one voter showed up to Rick Santorum's campaign stop at a restaurant in Hamlin, Iowa, on Monday, according to Politico.
With a population of 300, Hamlin eventually saw four Iowans assembled around the 2016 Republican hopeful's table where they munched on breaded tenderloin and a side of onion rings, Politico reported.
Santorum told The Des Moines Register he wasn't surprised by the low turnout it was all part of the plan.

Federal law or Iowa law may be different. Here in Pennsylvania, they are quite open about it. I've attended breakfasts for candidates (they provide the breakfast) and poll watched in precincts where the election workers were provided, quite openly, with lunch and dinner by one of the unions.
We have to bring our own food in the precinct where I'm currently an election judge. Probably because it is very GOP leaning.

“Add some pickle, mustard and onion...”
Ah, we always had it with applesauce and grilled onions.

Oh yeah and “chili sauce”, which isn’t the hot sauce, but more like a cocktail sauce type of condiment.

Maybe the restaurant’s food sucks...

Exactly!
Furthermore, what kind of a fool would schedule a campaign stop at a restaurant the serves breaded tenderloin?

I thought the reporter was trying to be fancy saying "breaded tenderloin." So, it's just a pork sandwich and not a beef plate with gravy? A Dairy Queen Dude is the beef version:

That’s a good match. Cruz should pick a running mate from either a northern tier state, or from one of the other three larger states — CA, FL, NY. Having a woman on the ticket would also help him. Of course, he has to win the nomination first, and the stink is sticking to most of the other candidates.
