You can’t “win back” conservative voters you never had in the first place, Jebby boy.

According to the article, he's been involved in the last three GOP presidential campaigns, so not a great track record. And who knows if he is actually conservative, or is simply being deemed as being conservative to woo conservatives.

Suggested campaign motto for Bush: “Jeb Bush, the Status Quo Republicrat.”
Or, “If you like Obama, you’ll love Bush.”
To: cotton1706
He’s got no cred outside of DC. Another tone-deaf Jeb move.

Something smells funny.
Danny Diaz, a 39-year-old Washington, D.C., native who has worked for the past three Republican presidential nominees....
Can't seem to recall his name ever coming up as a serious advisor to Mitt Romney nor John McCain. And I'm pretty sure Karl Rove was managing the rodeo for Dubya.
So who the hell is Danny Diaz? Sounds like the GOPe version of Tommy Vietor.
Danny must have driven the van when Vietor was unavailable.

Well said. This guy has been a beltway guy all his life, worked for McCain, the RNC, and McCain. Yeah, a real conservative...just more of the same.

So he knows how to lose more than he knows how to win. The guy who lost to obama. Twice.
Great pick there, Jeb!
To: cotton1706
Yawn. No way I’ll vote for this leftist.

Hey, its not everyone who loses to the worst president in history...twice. Jeb sure knows how to pick them!
Reminds me of Bob Dole in 1996 hiring the same people who lost to clinton in 1992.

Danny Diaz is the Communications Director for the Republican National Committee. Most recently, Diaz served as Deputy Communications Director for John McCain 2008. Prior to joining the John McCain 2008 campaign, Diaz served as Deputy Communications Director for the RNC.

He probably wised up to the fact that the GOP cannot win without the conservative vote.
I just hope the conservatives are not gullible enough to fall for it a 3rd time -- after McCain in 2008 and Romney in 2012. But the conservatives are persistent hangers-on -- Battered Conservatives Syndrome.

Diaz is not a conservative. He’s an RNC flunkee who helped John McCain and Mitt Romney lose.

The pool of consultants for presidential elections is relatively small. The pool of consultants involved in winning presidential elections is even smaller.
Each election cycle, wannabes hire from those pools. Consultants in those pools work for whoever pays them. They work for Dems. They work for Pubbies. They work for the paycheck. If they are lucky enough, they got on the team of the election winner, and their stock/worth/value astronomically increases for the next presidential election.
In the interim, they work as consultants for FoxNews, CNN, MSNBC, etc.
