Amidst the media euphoria surrounding the former Bruce Jenner’s gender reassignment surgery and cover photo on Vanity Fair, a 74-year-old transsexual who deeply regrets his decision has come forward to caution those who think that transgenderism solves people’s psychosexual problems.
In a CNN interview on Tuesday, Walt Heyer warned viewers that the relief accompanying gender reassignment surgery doesn’t last. After Jenner expressed exhilaration over the Vanity Fair cover, Heyer responded that such elation is normal, but transient.
Heyer acknowledged that “this is really the most exciting time in a transgender’s life.” It is, he said, “the debut,” when “all the things that you had hoped and thought about are coming about.” From personal experience, however, and from the many transgender people who write to him, Heyer says he knows “this doesn’t always last.”
“It’s sort of like, you know, going down to the bar and you’re having a good time and you drink it up good and then, you know, you wake up with a hangover,” he said.
In an essay earlier this year, Heyer offered a chilling autobiographical account of abuse and gender confusion, sexual reassignment surgery, a short reprieve from anxiety and eventually deep regret at his decision.
Heyer, now reverted to his male identity and married to his wife for 18 years, spends his energy raising public awareness of the disastrous penalties of gender reassignment.

Those that have this surgery are 20 times more likely than the general population to commit suicide. Studies show this surgery provides no long term benefit and in fact patients wind up worse off.

My parents are lucky to be dead and not have to see what has happened after the victory of WWII and the glory of the 50's. My wife and I have to sit and choke on it.

I’m glad someone is giving Walt a chance to tell his story which is the story for most transexuals at least the ones who don’t end up committing suicide once they realize the farce of their decision.
These sad people are sick and delusional. Their celebration in the popular culture underscores the fact that much of America has jumped head first into the decadent, neo pagan hedonistic toilet.
Guess what they can never transgender reassign? Chromosomal DNA. XY or XX... basic human biology 101.
I heard or read that Johns Hopkins who did the first surgeries would like to stop because most are unhappy again in a short time.
Well, the liberals will just argue that he was never “truly” one of them, otherwise, the say, he could not have ever regretted it, and thus his take on the situation and comments are invalid.
Perhaps his earlier Dickotomy procedure was reversed by an Addadictome. Wierd science.
It might be an especially hard fall for Bruce due to his high profile and his media frenzy freak show will sputter out eventually. He’s a 65 y/o male for crying out loud.

Do you suppose it might be a little difficult to find a donor for that? I mean, can you imagine the chump telling you, hey man I gotta have yours, or the doctor says I will die? I think we would all step back and gently tell him, well, unfortunately, I think you are going to die, while watching he/she with both eyes. 😂😱

I contend childhood sexual abuse drives over 80% of homosexual behavior.
I don't think it's completely gone. They manipulate the existing genitals in order to mimic the female organs. But nothing can ever be the same once the surgery has been done.
