DES MOINES A mere 240 people live in the rural northeast Iowa town of Kensett, so when more than 300 crowded into the community center on Saturday night to hear Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont, many driving 50 miles, the cellphones of Democratic leaders statewide began to buzz.
Kurt Meyer, the county party chairman who organized the event, sent a text message to Troy Price, the Iowa political director for Hillary Rodham Clinton. Mr. Price called back immediately.
Objects in your rearview mirror are closer than they appear, Mr. Meyer said he had told Mr. Price about Mr. Sanders. Mrs. Clinton had better get out here.
The first evidence that Mrs. Clinton could face a credible challenge in the Iowa presidential caucuses appeared late last week in the form of overflow crowds at Mr. Sanderss first swing through that state since declaring his candidacy for the Democratic nomination. He drew 700 people to an event on Thursday night in Davenport, for instance the largest rally in the state for any single candidate this campaign season, and far more than the 50 people who attended a rally there on Saturday with former Gov. Martin OMalley of Maryland.

deodorants are the reason for hunger in the country.
he is clinically insane.
He is a socialist. That says it all.
I think his proposal to set the top tax rate at 90% will resonate with the LIV.
Nuttier than Joe Biden.
Is that even possible?
Let’s end this FReepathon.
Hillary or Bernie?
That’s like asking if you want to be hung or shot.
No one in Iowa would call this Mason City-area town “northeast Iowa”.
How Sanders came to be there is better explained at

I have a feeling the liberal outlets are going to push Bernie. they wants socialism for us but not for them.
Was it a gang-rape of Hillary's Presidential ambitions?
“Hillary or Bernie?”
Which would you choose: Smallpox or Ebola?
Bernie Sanders is the Democrats' wet dream. In a very different sense, he is also that of the Republicans.
He might actually be an improvement over The Hildabeast...
Dey said you wuz hung.
Dey were right!
Remember 10 years ago when Sanders was a bark-at-the-moon lunatic that wouldn’t even be allowed to put a (D) next to his name?
The GOP Rino MCConnel base reminds me of the old man with warts on his face from Braveheart. He did not stand for principal and was willing to sell his countryman out of heir freedom so he could keep his own power.
Bernie Sanders seems to be saner than Hillary.
For example, he understands that he’s a politician and that politicians hold rallies, and so he holds rallies.
Hillary, on the other hand, who’s also a politician, doesn’t hold rallies. Instead, she sits in public places talking to small groups of carefully pre-selected people, as if she’s a crazy bag lady who instead of talking to herself on street corners has enough money to hire people to sit and listen to her in restaurants.
Eventually, all the people who don’t attend Hillary’s non-existent rallies won’t vote for her in the primaries either. So she’ll lose the primaries and have to go home, where hopefully she’ll be able to get help for her mental condition.
how can an (I) become a (D)?
And then run as a democrat?
>>The Democratic Party has gone so far Left that Hillary seems like a Moderate or Conservative to Democrats.<<
I agree. The question then becomes how that happened. There are two ways the Dems could move left as a party.
1. The Democrats all moved left or,
2. The centrist Democrats got fed up with the far-left leadership of Pelosi, Reid, and Obama and are deserting the party.
My money is on #2. If that turns out to be the case, not only will Hillary not be their nominee, but the Democrats will be buried in 2016.
