Ignoring the polls and pundits, former New York Gov. George Pataki plans to announce Thursday that hes joining the crowded Republican field for president.
The three-term governor will unveil his candidacy in Exeter, N.H., which claims the birthplace of the Republican Party and join a group of contenders who are inching toward the 20 mark.
Skeptics abound about Patakis chances.

“The only gap the GOP needs to fill in their Big Tent
is a gay candidate, a Muslim candidate and a Chinese candidate.”
would be nice if we had a conservative candidate but that might be considered too freaky for the GOP

Pataki = NOT A CHANCE IN HELL. Have Family in Western NY State. He’s not very popular in NY State despite having a relatively good track record.

Sweet. He can help round out the THIRD tier of Republican debates, you know, that bottom-of-the-barrel bunch of candidates who poll less than .00000001% of the vote.

Thinks hes too good for a Senate race but entitled to the Presidency. Prima donna phony. Believe or not RINO's do have a place in our party. Being governors (Pataki/Romney) or mayors (Giuliani) of deep blue states or cities is what we need them for. Pataki should be running for US Senate from NY. But when these guys decide to run for president, they need to get lost.

Ignoring the polls and pundits, former New York Gov. George Pataki plans to announce Thursday that hes joining the crowded Republican field for president. WHY? Because his invitations to join high paying corporate Board of Directors is drying up and his sense of self importance and his bank account need a lift. And of course he has no chance.

If the GOP nominates Jeb, it will not matter who the VP is. I would vote for Jeb if a couple of conditions were met:
1. He picked Cruz as his VP; and
2. He is diagnosed with a verified terminal condition and is given only a few weeks to live.
Otherwise, forget it.
