A special House panel investigating the Sept. 11, 2012, terrorist attacks on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya, has uncovered tens of thousands of new documents, but is still facing "obstacles" from the Obama administration, an interim report issued Monday said.
An "Interim Progress Update" was released Monday revealing the investigation "has uncovered new witnesses, new documents, new facts and will result in the most detailed and complete accounting of what happened in Benghazi."
And it reported that the panel in June will interview former Secretary of State Leon Panetta, Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Martin Dempsey and retired General Carter Ham, who was in charge of U.S. troops in Libya at the time of the attack.

shoot at the testicles to get answers, as for Hildabeast...waterboard her in every orifice.
So put some people together and do something about ANYTHING Trey! Or shut your pie hole!
“Why cant Congress find their spines or testicles?”
Can’t find something they never had!
Sending dry cleaning bill to ya...
Not a dang thing.
You throw an occasional bit of red meat out to the peasants back home, but as usual, you will do nothing of substance.
Yeah, no kidding.
Gowdy is a puppet for the Establishment GOPe, period.
If anyone questions his or the committees real intent, think back and just imagine how pissed off Roger Clemments is right now in regards to how he was treated for PED’s along with the ability of Congress to issue subpoenas?
Which is more important? PED’s or Benghazi and the four heroes who thought they were fighting for their country.
With the rare exceptions, all of Congress ain’t worth a pinch of puppy crap.
WOW, over a year to figure this out.
Trey, you are obstructing justice
These committees are simply dog-and-pony shows. Trey’s not “seriously” attempting to do anything of substance here...he’s appeasing the easy to appease. The rest...oh well. Just like Issa, nothing will come out these so-called investigations. Not one substantive thing. Laws were clearly broken and the violators are clearly known and nothing is going to happen to them. Congress, these days, is more suited to punish baseball players than fascist politicians.
“”He wont do the thing he should because Boehner wont let him”
He I presume you mean the “Honorable” Trey Gowdy.
Then I suggest Trey Gowdy grow a pair and tell the world how Boehner is compromising his special committee.
He won’t though because just like every other GOP elitist before him he will not upset the apple cart
Gowdy is a barking dog with no testicles.
Not even a barker......more like a toothless lil yappy dog
Benghazi ping.
Let Republicanprofessor know if you want on or off this ping list.
Obama is running out the clock
OK Trey... when can we expect that people will be incarcerated? Hello?
You are far too negative.
Instead of the glass being half empty, try for it being half full. As far as Trey Gowdy, you want to instead say:
"As EFFECTIVE as Elijah Cummings"
I miss Bob Dornan.
“Obama not being cooperative and forthcoming?
Shocking and unexpected.”
Obviously Rep. Gowdy is a racist...and never uses his turn signal.

I truly do not understand a lot of the posters on FR, they all bitch about why or who but offer no viable alternatives.
And for the last four months, they have disappointed us horribly.
We need a new party. Yesterday.
2016 will be a repeat of 2008 and 2012 for the White House, and a new party will have no effect before the January, 2019 Congress is seated.
If we get that far.
