A special House panel investigating the Sept. 11, 2012, terrorist attacks on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya, has uncovered tens of thousands of new documents, but is still facing "obstacles" from the Obama administration, an interim report issued Monday said.
An "Interim Progress Update" was released Monday revealing the investigation "has uncovered new witnesses, new documents, new facts and will result in the most detailed and complete accounting of what happened in Benghazi."
And it reported that the panel in June will interview former Secretary of State Leon Panetta, Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Martin Dempsey and retired General Carter Ham, who was in charge of U.S. troops in Libya at the time of the attack.

Same here. I was heartened by our victory here in Virginia getting the weasel Eric Cantor thrown out. Dave Brat is a huge improvement. We need a few hundred more like him.
A special prosecutor can be appointed by the Attorney General or by Congress.
Lynch will never appoint one, but Congress has no excuse at this point.
The House can issue arrest warrants and throwing crooks in their own jail. Will it happen? No.
Where are some heroes? We need people in congress who are willing to basically die or be made a laughingstock for their country and for all of us. Soldiers do the deed for us all, but we need some politicians who aren’t just out for sex and money. We need some who say, come what will, we stand for liberty.

I’m old enough to finally feel that my life would be a good and decent life if I had to make one of those choices: risk being murdered to try and save America. I’d do it. I hope I don’t have to because I have young children who need me. But where is anyone besides me, preferably elected to congress, who would stand up to the admin regardless of any threat?? Would the Gowdy cranks prefer he just dismiss the investigation entirely, due to obstruction and lack of relevant evidence, or would they prefer he bring forth with an exercise in futility, a losing case without relevant evidence?
There will be no special prosecutor because the Justice Department is corrupt, and it is they who provide the special prosecutor.
There will be no required vote in the House of Representatives under Boehner because he is corrupt and will not call for it.
So boxed in with virtually no case at all, the Gowdy cranks want to practice their rancorous, caustic crap throwing against Trey, just ‘cuz.

How about Congress offer a $5 MILLION reward for the TRUTH about what we were doing in Libya BEFORE the attack, what happened during the attack, and then AFTERWARDS including the cover-up. Winner receives $5 MIL and that his or her identity be limited to Benghazi panel ONLY and not be disclosed to anyone else.
