A federal judge has reopened an open-records case trying to pry loose some of former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton’s emails, marking the first time a court has taken action on the email scandal. Judge Reggie B. Walton agreed Friday to a joint request by the State Department and Judicial Watch, which sued in 2012 to get a look at some of Mrs. Clinton’s documents concerning a public relations push. Both sides agreed that the revelation that Mrs. Clinton had kept her own email server separate from the government, and exclusively used her own email account created on that

Well, keep us posted if anything ever comes of this. I guess there’s always a first time.

I can see how if this issue is not properly addressed by the courts, her successors will use her actions as justification of their own mishandling of official business.

This is encouraging. I certainly hope something comes of this. I’d love to see, on the nightly news, U.S. Marshall’s showing up at a public event, handcuffing her and hauling her off to jail.

The story concludes with Gowdy saying that evidently the legislative body does not have the investigative tools to compel action. Gowdy has been saying this for months and months, subtly and not so subtly. No one seems to be hearing him.

Is he talking to Boehner? Boehner has so far declined to engage, and must, if there is to be a House vote to ever seek to retrieve the irretrievable. Gowdy is not one to beat a dead horse.

This so dead in the water so long as Obama is in office and a corrupt Justice Department stands. The majority party in the Legislative branch accomplishes nothing without a just and reasonably principled Executive branch. EXCEPT through the courts as Obama has done.

Perhaps the Judicial branch can break the tie? J/K.

When the Country was first founded, the three branches of government we co- OR tri-equals with a different function. Over time there has been a civil war creating a still divided Democrat party that challenges every function or action intended to run smoothly by the foundering fathers.

Hillary was legally constrained by SENSITIVE BUT UNCLASSIFIED (SBU) Security Classification utilized at the Department of State in lieu of UNCLASSIFIED. The Department of State (DOS), specifically created the Security Classification of SBU to prevent "UNCLASSIFIED" Information from being handled as FOR OFFICIAL USE ONLY, and employees all know that they are not permitted to send any work related information to a personal Email Account, but that all electronic data transmission must be kept inside the DoS server network of US Government Computer Networks.

I personally was a Foreign Service Specialist performing the duties of an Information Management Specialist who was for the purposes of Email and Server/Network Security working under the direct chain-of-command of Diplomatic Security. Had I or anyone working on a Department of State Computer System became embroiled in a situation where the transmission of DOS work related information was sent on to Yahoo, Gmail, or other non-US Government servers, a security investigation would have been initiated by the Information Systems Security Officer under the guidance of Diplomatic Security with it being an active case all the way to Washington DC.

Hillary is in trouble. If she is not in trouble, the USG can just drop computer network operations and use Chinese or Russian servers for that matter. WHATS THE DIFFERENCE?

More likely a Clinton defensive move. Have a hood judge seize the case... Then sit on it.

Never expect anything timely from a cpurt.

Well, the House could hold hillary in inherent contempt and put her in the house jail.

They could also do their required duty and impeach soetoro but neither will happen.

After almost seven years of felonies and high crimes committed by Obama and his ministers, not a one has even been fired from his/her post.

Black privilege has spared the ‘Bamster, but the fact that his underlings regularly give congress the middle finger salute and lie without fear of punishment points toward a deeper problem.

Our governing institutions no longer serve their designed purposes. For instance, does congress actually legislate or does it enable the executive to make arbitrary regs/law? Does it conduct oversight of the agencies it created? Does congress serve to secure our inalienable rights? Does congress or Obama determine spending? The senate has voted to give Obama the treaty power.

Institutions designed for free government have been corrupted into forms that do the opposite; they serve to enable and condone tyranny.

Article V before we can't.
