A glittering line-up of Hollywood stars is poised to back Hillary Clinton's bid to become US President by raising millions for her campaign.
The former Secretary of State and wife of ex-President Bill Clinton is expected to announce her 2016 candidacy today in a video released on social media.
And political pundits say plans are already in place to hold fundraising parties as early as next month.
Mrs Clinton's most high-profile Hollywood backers include director Steven Spielberg, and actors George Clooney, Barbra Streisand and Tom Hanks.
DreamWorks studio boss Jeffrey Katzenberg has said: 'Hillary is the best qualified candidate. She will be America's first female President.'
Reports in the US said Mrs Clinton, 67, is aiming to raise £1.7 billion – double the amount spent by Barack Obama on his re-election campaign in 2012.
The first official word that she will seek the Democratic Party's nomination is expected to come via an online video posted on social media.........

I think we need to make it clear to these celebutools that if they side with Her Heinous, they are dead to conservatives. I imagine most of us already boycott Clooney movies, and I wouldn’t cross the street to piss on Barbra Streisand. But these shills will use their “star power” to dazzle the low-info crowd and usher in a regime as bad or worse than obama’s. There can be no quarter with such people, and we need to neutralize their influence.
Another major reason to avoid seeing any of their garbage movies.
They have to stick to generalities because any utterance of specifics and she's sunk.

Just seeing who is backing her is reason enough for the rest of us not to.
Hanks once said he was sorry for giving 10K to someone’s campaign. Shortly thereafter, he said he was sorry he hadn’t given 20K.
It’s interesting that no one, I mean no one I know on Facebook even mentioned hitlery today.
