A House panel Tuesday formally requested Hillary Clinton to testify about the private server and email account she used while serving as secretary of state.
Rep. Trey Gowdy, chairman of the Select Committee on Benghazi, sent a request to Clinton's personal attorney, David E. Kendall, requesting that Clinton appear before the committee no later than May 1 for a transcribed interview about the server and email.
The request comes after Kendall told Gowdy that the server had been wiped clean and that it would be impossible to recover the 30,000 emails Clinton deleted last year.
Gowdy, in his request to Kendall, also asked Clinton to "reconsider" her refusal to turn over the server to a neutral third party, which he called "highly unusual, if not unprecedented."
Clinton said she only deleted personal emails and turned over every work-related message to the State Department, which is reviewing the data to filter out classified information.
"Because of the Secretary's unique arrangement with herself as it relates to public records during and after her tenure as Secretary of State." Gowdy wrote, "this Committee is left with no alternative but to request Secretary Clinton appear before this Committee for a transcribed interview to better understand decisions the Secretary made relevant to the creation, maintenance, retention, and ultimately deletion of public records."

Subpoena the NSA for all email to/from the clintonemail.com domain from January 2006 - March 2015.
Congress represents “We The People”. Hillary was just our employee. Our employee is telling us to shove it. She needs to be reminded that she worked for us.

Perhaps a channel to Israeli intelligence can get copies of all the Clintonemail.com emails.

We know that to retrieve the damn server requires a cooperative Justice Department, because Gowdy has informed us of that fact, at least 50 times.
In the absence of JD cooperation, Gowdy informed us by land, air and sea, that it will take the Speaker of the House causing action to retrieve the server, by the vote of the House of Representatives.
For political purposes the roll out of this HOR play is politically timed. It is timed to affect her campaign announcement in April, and other steps will roll out at a pace that causes great pain to Clinton, in order to dog her to the curb.
I don’t know why that is so hard to understand for so many freepers. She is probably nailed. It would be so stupid to rush the explosive fallout, which has always allowed her to recover from it over the course of the next two years.

Seriously? You think the corrupt Justice Department will dispatch the FBI to investigate another sister department of the Executive Branch?
This will advance by only one well timed procedure, timed to do Hillary’s campaign the most damage. That one procedure has to come from not Trey Gowdy, but the Speaker of the House who will have to call a vote from the entire House of Representatives to authorize a subpoena with clout, and independence from the Justice Department.

Someone here analyzed the URL and found the physical location of the server was offshore. Anyone know for certain?
