Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker believes Mitt Romney is a "good man and would have been a good president," but now that the former Massachusetts governor has officially backed out of the 2016 race, Walker would like his support among the list of possible Republican presidential hopefuls.

"I would love to have his endorsement," Walker told Fox News Channel's Bret Baier during a segment that aired Friday of an interview that will be running as part of a series surrounding potential 2016 candidates.

At the same time, Walker said that he thinks it is "a time for new fresh ideas," and he appreciates "the fact in his comments that he pointed out it is time to maybe pass the torch and look for new leadership."

Walker, who took a call from Romney while he was being interviewed by Baier, said that there is no doubt that Romney's decision not to mount a third try at the presidency changes the Republican landscape....

Weak? This guy kicked the left’s ass three times in four years. Name someone more battle tested than Walker. Have you not seen what he’s done for WI??

Right about everything you said about GHWB.

Answer to your question, since the VP choice distressed me from the very start: Jack Kemp. Reagan did not need the “state votes” from any VP candidate to win. Kemp was already known as a good supporter of all Reagan’s viewpoints, and would have been a great successor.

If Jeb is the GOP candidate, Hitlery wins easily. People like you will be responsible for that.

Since I’m backing Ted Cruz to the tune of $2million, I’m at a loss as to how I’ll be responsible for Hillary’s ascension. And another thing, the Bush’s are 5 out of 6 in national elections. You discount them at your peril. Hillary couldn’t even beat a guy who was a state senator a few years before.

This is the same thing I keep trying to get him to understand. He just doesn’t get it that attacking (usually snarky stuff) another’s choice doesn’t change any minds. It just creates ill will that makes it hard to unify, when that time comes.

Following me around to another tread after you got one pulled? That’s PURE TROLL or I’ve never seen one. Unless you guys can show me a bill-of-sale where you bought FR, I could G.A.S. what you want me to do, got it?

“Listen to me for once, there are NO pure as wind driven snow candidates. If they were, they would’nt be politicians running at presidential level. Every candidate has some flaws we do not like.”

Exactly what I have been saying. Even the most pure of motive and genuine have flaws.

There is an appalling lack of civility on the forum. Those that spend time posting all the “evils” of any candidate but their choice are just creating discord. It is totally counter productive.

Yes. That was tragic. As was all the conservatives who didn’t vote for Romney who had voted for McCain.

Guess they showed us!!

So, because he set about getting the state on a solid financial footing instead of drawing blood from political enemies, he’s weak? Right... got it.

Now it is profanity? That is unwarranted and unbecoming of a “Christian” gentleman. In no way am I attempting to provoke you and I am NOT a troll.

Maybe you should “care” what sensible people are telling you. Talk less and listen more.

Or you'll go crying to mommy? I couldn't care less. And sometimes “profanity” is needed to emphasize a point, church lady.

I didnt say he was NO asset.. just weaker than whats “needed”..
You do realize the FIRST to attempt to level the federal leviathan WILL BE MURDERed?...
and maybe the second and third..

that is IF THEY CAN be elected.. at all.. the voter fraud is deep and entrenched..

The left will release power only from their cold dead hands.. even a little of it..
I doubt elections will “do it”.. much more is needed..

Currently the “left” controls ALL VECTORS OF FEDERAL POWER.. and in many/most States as well..
If YOU think they will just “GO”... you’re delusional.. they will NOT..

Did I say elections especially federal elections are a farce?..
PROOF: Myth Romney as 2012 “CONSERVATIVE” candidate..
WHO gets chosen is who’s supposed to get chosen..

The FOX owns the hen house that the hens live in.. and the roosters may not be roosters..
Clucking.... solves nothing..

at no time did he say that he didn’t support citizenship for illegals

Are you kidding me?!? You know, I heard has at no time said he is against slaughtering Jews in concentration camps. Or is that too close to Godwin's law?

“And sometimes “profanity” is needed to emphasize a point, church lady.”

Just more proof you are not a conservative Christian as you claim (that is the only reason I mentioned it). I have never used profanity that I did not later regret it (usually immediately). Using childish insults like “church lady” (a very secular insult from a liberal source - SNL) is what keeps revealing your true nature. You use characatures like “Elmer Gantry” and “Church Lady” to insult those that you perceive as standing in the way of your candidate....I believe is Senator Cruz. I hope I am wrong about you being a Ted Cruz supporter, in that he is a good man that needs better supporters of better behavior. I am pretty sure he wouldn’t approve of you.

That is not the point. The point is, it is unproductive to bash GOP candidates. It only shows one does not have much good to say about their own chosen candidate.

In both elections of Obama, polling samples have determined that over 5 million evangelicals stayed home.

I certainly won't blame them in the case of Romney — politically speaking he was/is Obama's clone.
While I did hold my nose and vote for McCain, it is to my eternal shame — and so I will not condemn them for not voting McCain. (In the intervening years I've become more aware of who McCain is and, to be honest, I would not vote for him then had I known what I do now.)

I spoke with some of them each of those years while I was door-to-door canvassing, completely failing to change their determination.

If you were trying to encourage them to vote GOP, I have no problem with their rejection of it — the Republican party needs its ass handed to them again and again and again until they realize that they actually have to do the things that they say they will. — but if you look at their actions and inactions, disregarding their rhetoric, it becomes clear that the Republican party is indistinguishable from the Democrat party.
