The Obots are out hot and heavy today...all over the coment sections in force with their one liners...and on socila networls..
I don’t put a lot of weight into weekenders stuff because they’re really everywhere when Republicans are holding anything significant....our side does need to get a “force” for the internet...though Google does and will control that........they gang up on anyone who is presenting good arguments and have them “tagged”.
Of Course time4good, you are already on The List, I will make sure to put you near the top! :D
Onyx...Sarah really wasn’t even close to what we usually hear in Summits like this....especially if she’s really running...I still conclude she was very tired and so not on the mark as we are accustomed.
Heidi was in the audience, too! That De Moines Register link I posted has all the photos, speeches, etc from the event.
That feed kept rebooting for me no matter what adjustments i made...and C-Span cuts off after a certain time limeit...though you can bring it back up right away.
All in all those who really counted “served” their purpose I think...but you can tell who are Really the candidates....and others filling in...
BTW Christy did mention he’s a candidate...though I think it was a slip and not intentional
Sarah was doing a fundraiser in Vegas last night, probably tired and she isn’t running, anyway, she’s clearing the field for and running interference for Cruz.
Meanwhile the RATS aren’t doing any campaigning or stumping, did zero promise he’d give them a false-flag op to negate the ‘16 election? Cruz, who they fear the most will win, has promised to rip up by the roots everything the RATS have shoddily installed over the last six years.... and they know that’s not a threat.. it’s a PROMISE.
Probabaly do spot them but you really can’t do anything until they do something.
I gotta get something to eat....watched the day and I’ve had enough for now...really didn’t want to spend my Sat. doing this..LOLOLOL...but now I know who is really running to BE Pres. and who is just running.....though Rubio didn’t speak did he.
Michele Bachman campaigned on $2 gas at the pump.
....”Cruz, who they fear the most will win, has promised to rip up by the roots everything the RATS have shoddily installed over the last six years.... and they know thats not a threat.. its a PROMISE”.....
I know...and I love it!....I believe he will win this election...and Hillary will be a piece of cake for him to handle...he knows her game...and she’s not exactly a spring chicken anymore...plus she knows he’s on top of his game. The last thing she wants is to go up against Cruz.....

And it looks like boy Cuomo, the backup, may be ensnared in Sheldon Silver’s corruption catastrophe in NY....
All in all, a bad day to be a RAT.
I’m getting a pretty different perspective from friends who were at the event than that that I’ve seen from those who watched the feed. It’s interesting.
They’re saying that the event was poorly run, and that notwithstanding the fact that many people who wanted to go from around the state were told it was sold out, and were never contacted even if they were on the waiting list, there were hundreds and hundreds of empty seats in the hall. After the first hour, when it was clear that this was the case, they pretty much opened up the doors for free. My understanding is that that is how the Dreamers got in.
Their take on how the various candidates were received is quite a bit different than here on the thread, too.
I asked one friend, who is a very, very experienced political operative, who would have won a straw poll if one had been taken. He said Huckabee would have won by a mile.
Huckabee went last, and about 80% of the crowd stayed through to the end of that marathon just to hear him.
It was the Huckabee crowd to begin with.
My friends who were present told me that Sarah Palin was much better received by those in the hall than it would seem from the posts on this thread.
Thought you might like to know that. :-)
I watched most of the Freedom Summit today too. When Sarah Palin came on my daughter sat down just to watch her. She defends Sarah often from the trolls on other sites. We each loved what she had to say. But then again, we always have. On a side note, her black leather skirt, boots, and black silk shirt was also a very nice touch. She was strong in her delivery and very beautiful as always too. She is classy, smart, strong, and ‘real’. She doesn’t cower, crawl, or ‘toe the line’ to please the media or her critics. All the reasons some try every way possible to tear her down.
Well that’s very interesting...on all your points written...
Wasn’t it Tea Party people who pulled this event together? Sounds like there’s some serious communication problems.
Hucklebees people are mostly older folks...as photos of the corwd there pretty much showed...I wondered about that when they panned it....
“Tea Party” is a pretty amorphous title these days.
Tea Party is a pretty amorphous title these days”
Well that’s true... I have to say i wasn’t impressed with those in my area. One fellow won a local election. Later on I watched him at a meeting and he was such an embarrassment...said nothing to resolve issues, nor had anything to offer but his mouth and that only created frustrations for those attempting to do the work at hand.
However, I realize not everyone in these groups operates as that...but they do need to make sure their candidates can do the job...not just take a seat.
Missed the whole event. Quite a busy weekend with the Rolex 24 on, Super Bowl stuff starting, NBA games, Miss Universe tonight, SAG awards tonight, Fox News ran a show on Cuba that was interesting, and I saw tennis because I like it.
Plus I saw Kentucky and South Carolina play.
