>> Judges have ruled that his human rights will be breached if he is extradited
Judges from what country?
Had to dig up an old article to find out more about the victims.
http://www.syracuse.com/news/index.ssf/2010/03/two_onondaga_county_men_accuse.html
with the talk of “human rights” being violated if he was made to stand trial it sounded like he may have been accused of having sex with some young boys (the victims were young girls).
I wonder if this globe trotting “doctor” was involved in any of the United Nations’ sex scandals.
Because judges should have ultimate authority over us all! Damned our opinions! Their opinion is of the LAW! Even when they are unjust, it is just. For they are the judges!
We need star chambers. No one should be above the law. Gandhi famously once said an eye for an eye, and the whole world is blind. I say, an eye for an eye and only the innocent will lead the world.
I understand the frustration, but I’m still curious about from where the judge hails.
I don’t suppose he is even on a list of sex offenders over there.
Quoting ...
Westminster Magistrates’ Court yesterday heard that he had since settled in Milton Keynes with his wife and young family making Britain his ‘safe haven’.
But, in a judgment likely to spark outrage in America, magistrates ruled that Bowen’s ‘right to liberty and security’ under the European Convention on Human Rights was at threat from his extradition.
District judge Margaret Rose rejected claims that putting him on a plane would breach either his right to a fair trial or his freedom of expression.
But she added: ‘However, his Article 5 right to liberty and security would be at risk if he were to go back and convicted in New York state and face indefinite imprisonment, therefore he is discharged.
His defence lawyer, Malcolm Hawkes, said the reference to article 5 meant there was a fear his client would be placed in indefinite detention if he went back to the US.
The proper response is to have him killed and dismembered, leaving the bag of parts on the sidewalk leading up to 10 Downing.

Thanks!
So by virtue of this judge’s decision, is Europe disregarding pedophilic rape charges brought forth by the United States?
Funny, a while back Brit judges had no problem extraditing a mentally challenged teenager for hacking into some US computer (oh the humanity!). (Hint: the teenager is white)
They didn’t. The judges refused to, and he was no teenager if its the case I am thinking of (the McKinnon case).
And you wonder why many Brits inc myself despise the Labour govt introducing the act in 1998?. This is just one in a long line of abuses of the act/stupid decisions.
Not if he hasn’t been convicted of any sex crime.
No thank you.
Even if I email Jeremy Clarkson and let him know Piers is returning?

Give him time!
Same stuff the “royal” family does...and nothing happens to the perverts.
Britain should occupy the same status as Pakistan and El Salvador in the minds of Americans
