Drudge links to the Military Times which cannot be posted because of Gannett rules.
Yeah, who’d a thunk it?
LOL!!
Dislike for Obama translates to low moral in the military which becomes a force multiplier for our enemies.
Oh and just wait until Hillary and her militant antimilitary metrosexual birkenstockers take control of the WH
Back to having military officers serve cocktails at WH parties because their uniforms have all those pretty medals
I posted the Drudge title, not the Military Times title. We can’t post Military Times articles because of Gannett rules.
Carter kept the morale up in the military? That is not what those I went to school with who joined the military after school said. And the biggest reason I did not join.
I think you may be right.
True. And unemployment would be 30%, and his approval rating with the public would be in the teens.
Fix the press; fix the country.
I was in at the time. Let's just say he did better than 0bama is doing, and that's pretty faint praise.
I still wonder how that then Lieutenant whose face she threw coffee in is doing.
She was rabidly angry because he wouldn’t get her coffee.
Obola is a complete a-hole.
At only 10% popularity, my guess is a lot of even those have had it with this contemptible piece of crap. Hope I live to see the day he is impeached and removed from office, and tried for high crimes and treason and incarcerated for life.
This scumbag and his administration started charging people to use the eagle globe and anchor and all of our other branches for use on product. An extra $1,000. These branches are owned by the PEOPLE. Our taxes pay for it and now they want to charge us for it!!! F*** this president.
I wrote to a MARINE CONGRESSMAN and sent a case of our marine dogs to him and told him what was going on and that I was one disgusted American who refuses to pay this muslim tax.
Of course I heard back right away. yeah right.
Having been in during that time I also would disagree with that premise. Carter was tolerated for the most part but not well liked. Carter has spent his retirement time bringing his likability down to the level of the kenyan. The kenyan has removed almost all remnants of respect from the equation even before leaving office.
Yep, though I have read a number of nauseating threads over the last few years where many here believed that the military was bought, paid for, mindless drones who would serve obama and would turn their weapons on the American people if he told them to. Glad to see an article that supports my replies to many of those postings.
I still recall, early in his ‘administration’, when the Coward-in-Chief banned ceremonial swords at a military academy graduation that he attended as keynote speaker.
THAT is the one headline I've been most hoping to see since the morning of November 5th, 2008.
(and any threatened race 'war' be damned)
I've never believed that either, FRiend !
Yes, there'll always be the handful of ass-kissing toadies who'll go along with anything, but their subsequent lifespan should prove satisfyingly short.
I hold that the VAST majority of those in the Armed Forces are motivated, above all else, by a bedrock belief in the Constitution and of doing the RIGHT thing.
Throughout my enlisted and officer career I know that the majority of those I knew were dedicated to the Constitution and not any particular commander or president. I am still in contact with a lot of younger troops over the 21 years since retiring and that observation has not changed much. The troops and their officers today are much more aware of the commitment to the Constitution and the difference between lawful and unlawful orders. General officers who are mostly political by nature might, and I say might follow unlawful orders but they would not last long if they tried to follow orders to march against the American public.
