This would be front page news if we had anything except a controlled media.

A graph on the site shows Obama's approval within the military around 10%.
His disapproval is close to 60%.

This may prove interesting when the Administration proceeds to start a war.
Which it will.

Obama will layoff 100,000 troops, and replace them with illegal immigrants seeking amnesty. Just watch.

I think King George the 3rd had a higher approval rating among the English fighting those blasted tea party extremists

Two problems: first, that this administration is profoundly ideological in a way that no previous administration has been, and that ideology holds the military in contempt; second, that 0bama is a non-veteran with the worst political tin ear in memory - the picture of the Marine holding the umbrella is a perfect example but there are many, many others. It doesn’t take a lot to keep morale up, even Clinton managed it more or less, heck, even Carter managed it, but whether it’s an overinflated sense of self-importance or simple, stubborn disrespect, 0bama just can’t seem to keep from stepping on his...ah...shoelaces.

One MIGHT say a commander this unpopular COULD have been a candidate for Fragging in times past.

They’ve been through a Carter, then a Reagan. The military understands patience and waiting out the not-so-good political figures. 8 years is a drop in the bucket.

I’m retired Navy and I still work for the Navy. I work with the sailors every day. I see an almost universal disdain for this pResident. Of course when deployments go from 6 months to 9 months (or more) with less than a year turnaround between them, and LONG hours and lots of at sea time during the turnaround period (so the ship can be ready for that next deployment) how can one expect them not to dislike the administration?

He has already proposed just such action! Allowing ILLEGAL aliens to serve in our military for citizenship. I mean, we already allow LEGAL aliens to server to garner citizenship, and to Obama and the Democrats, an alien is an alien - what's the difference?!?
There are just too many defense related failures to NOT have seen this coming: women in combat, gays & lesbians, transgenders, leaving combat zones before appropriate timing, announcing leaving combat zones before appropriate timing, EXTREME and DISTURBING rules of engagement, etc...
I am certain that those 10% are the upper echelon level officers, who are vying for an opportunity to kiss his A$$ and become a General (or higher General), Joint Chiefs of Staff member, or some other political-level position!!

They would turn physically their backs to Obama like the NY police if it was at all possible.

Heck, George the Third probably had higher approval among the rebels for that matter.

He is even more disliked than Billy “I loathe the military” Clinton.
Which is an amazing accomplishment.

I’d wager the bulk of the approvers is either black, gay, female, or some other politically favorable minority.
A survey of the Pentagon would probably look inverted to this poll. He’s made sure to staff bootlickers in key positions.
