Ted Cruz setting another fine example. When was the last time that Reid, McConnell, Boehner, Hillary, etc. actually did their civic duty?

Houston’s Lesbo Mayor Annise Parker would have loved him to not show up.

I am in full agreement with you.

The chances that any def lawyer lets the Cruzer on a jury...is about the same that Salma Hayek will dump her billonaire boyfriend and call me for a date.
The last thing a def lawyer wants is a knowledgeable, rational, analytic, and persuasive guy like Ted.

When I voted to elect Ted Cruz, it was the first time since 1984 that I had actually voted *FOR* a candidate versus holding my nose and voting against someone.
1984 was Reagan's re-election.

What votes does DC want him to miss? Which caucuses?

Whoa! He’s trying to be a normal guy. Sure sign he’s running for President.
Gov. Walker better pull some strings and get on that list right quick.
And to Senator Cruz, if I was the lawyer I would so pre-emptorily challenge your *ss and send you back to DC before you even say one damn word:
“Yah, Senator Cruz, I really want a guy smarter than me on this jury.....NOT! You are challenged!”
Of course I’d still send him and Walker money in the primary, but you get the point.

This is very commendable of busy Senator Ted Cruz considering only 55% of people summoned for Jury Duty in Harris County (Houston) actually show up on a typical day.
To: Timber Rattler
I just hope it is not one of those long drawn out trials where the jury is sequestered, in which case I would consider the whole thing a set up.

I”m sure they’d all show for Jury Duty, I remember Giuliani being called when he was mayor.
Quite frankly that was stupid and inappropriate, the Mayor of a city really is dq’d from being on a jury in it.
