he propaganda unit of Hamas's "military wing", the Ezzedine Al-Qassam Brigades, kicked into overdrive recently with a new film, which attempted to portray the terrorist organization's Gazan fighting force as a modern Islamic army, exhibiting advanced weaponry training for a wide range of scenarios - and with its sights on Jerusalem.

In the video a large unit of terrorists are shown with all the equipment of a modern army, from combat vests to advanced assault rifles. Several are seen bearing a flag reading "the army of Al-Quds (Jerusalem)."
The Hamas "army" is seen conducting an array of operations modeled on attacks launched against Israel from Gaza - including several attacks in recent weeks that the terror group has denied responsibility for.
It appears to be an attempt to showcase a recently-announced "popular army", which the Islamist terror group said it formed following Operation Protective Edge to "liberate Palestine".
In one scene, the terrorists are seen raiding a model IDF post and kidnapping an Israeli soldier. In another, a sniper is seen shooting an IDF soldier; just last Wednesday an IDF soldier was critically wounded by sniper fire during repairs on the security barrier, although Hamas denied it was behind the attack from territory it controls. Tellingly, however, the head of Hamas's reconnaissance unit was killed by IDF return fire during the incident.
Rockets, including the domestically produced M75, are seen being fired on numerous occasions throughout the propaganda film, after just two weeks ago a rocket was fired on Israel from Gaza in a breach of the truce, marking at least the third such case of rocket fire since Operation Protective Edge.
In response to the latest rocket attack, the IAF struck Gaza concrete factories used to rebuild the terror tunnels....

Well, it worked for the Assyrians...and the Babylonians...and the Greeks...and the Romans...and the Arabs...and the Turks. I don’t think Hamas would ever win, but then again I see no reason to believe God is extending special protection to Israel at this time either. God has allowed Israel to be conquered numerous times.
Didn’t see the HAMAS air force. the IAF air force won’t have any practice ... then too, where are H’s tanks and stuff.
Didn’t 5 or 6 different national armies, surrounding Israel, sneak-attack simultaneously, and still get their asses handed to them? Methinks the rabble of Hamas, hiding behind women and children and mosques, are not quite up to the task, no matter their bluster.
Would be fun to see an Army of The Cud get slaughtered like cattle.
Well the Bible prophecies have all come to pass through 65 1/4 books, so the last 3/4 will also, I would bet on it...a 100% track record is worth believing.
Jesus will come back for his bride the Church (True Believers), and then ‘when all nations gather against Israel for the battle of Armageddon, Jesus will split the sky, on a white horse and he will have a SWORD in his hand. So don’t be deceived by the first white horse with the Bow...that’s the Anti Christ.
All that you mentioned were times of prophetic trouble for Israel...just don’t count them out, it isn’t over yet. There are a few bumps to go yet, and what may look like defeat yet, but God is not late, however he won’t be early either. I’ll put my money on the Word of God.

No, actually I mentioned times when the state/kingdom of Israel was destroyed. There was no “trouble”. There was DESTRUCTION.

So will I but I won’t confuse that with the modern state of Israel.
And ‘trouble’ can be destruction...you nit pick. Modern or not, Israel is still God’s chosen people.
