Former President George H.W. Bush was taken by ambulance to the Houston Methodist Hospital as a precaution after experiencing a shortness of breath earlier this evening, his spokesman said tonight.
The former president, age 90, will be held for observation, again as a precaution, Bush spokesman Jim McGrath said.
Bush began experiencing health problems in 1991 when, as president, he entered the hospital with an irregular heartbeat.

some may want to comment now about 41’s politics or his son’s. Not the time in my opinion.
I dare say there is ONE person here in FR or the Daily Cos (lurkers) who have given anything near to the public service to our country that 41 has, save for those who have fallen in the defense of America.
Give ‘em hell, George!

George HW Bush is a good man. So is the son, even if you disagree with his politics. It is a family of class acts that we should be proud of as a nation.
