Cynthia Lummis spoke for the people today who are being harmed by Obamacare. Below is a rough paraphrased account of her Q & A with Gruber and Tavenner.
Cynthia Lummis is on Obamacare, as was her husband.
When they filed claims then told we were not covered on Obamacare.
Her husband having chest pains - he didn’t have all the tests advised to have - so my husband had a massive heart attack
In a conversation with doctor, Rep Lummis found that he chose not to have one test that was recommended and the timing coincides with time we were told not covered.
I am telling you during the time he was having tests, he was told we were not covered.
There may be a decline in participation [to Ms Tavenner]
There have been so many glitches in Obamacare that have real life consequences.

The GOPe is putting on emotional political theater instead of taking any meaningful action to reverse Obamacare.
The big money special interests that support the GOPe wanted Obamacare to fill their coffers with money from those higher health insurance premiums for those whose coverage was cancelled and the uninsured being forced to buy the new more expensive coverage as well.
FDR imposed Social Security on us with a promise of retirement pay at 65 - when the average life span was 59. Fast forward and Social Security is near (or at) bankruptcy because people are living longer and the government has to actually pay out money.
Obvious answer, DeathCare and kill off the people over 65. Viola, Social Security is fixed. And we have another tax.
Prediction: In ten years, they’ll start taxing air to pay for DeathCare.

When you soundly rebuke someone, there is no need to hear their side of the story.
I'd be willing to bet he underclaims his tips and keeps his earned income reported to a minimum. Even single, low paying jobs can qualify a person for EITC, SNAP, etc.

You are correct. If the GOPe really cared about eliminating Obamacare it would happen. Every GOP pundit and advisor would be talking about it. There would be a people’s march on Washington scheduled after the first of the year. Protest would be organized at the offices of potential Democrat defectors. Boehner and McConnell would be strong arming or passing pork out to potential Democrat defectors on a veto vote. They have the numbers to pass repeal and the have the power to pull enough Democrats, afraid of voters in 2016, to override a veto.
As you said, the big monied interests that fund the party want Obamacare.

She told her story very well. I had no idea where she was going when she started to speak. What a nightmare! Most of her remarks were directed at that woman Tavenner or whatever her name was - the Medicaid/Medicare robot.
