Who's up for a fresh addition to the ever-expanding "voter fraud is a Republican myth" file? Democratic officials and campaign operatives have been caught on tape encouraging illegal voting on several occasions in recent election cycles, and anti-voter ID activists have literally cheered a swing-state poll worker who was convicted of the practice. Our latest installment comes to us from the Bayou State and features a Democratic mayor and former State Senator, who dispensed some pro tips on voting at a rally in advance of Saturday's run-off election:
Video of Opelousas, Louisiana Mayor Don Cravins Sr.'s Nov. 3 remarks show him telling a crowd in his home town that 'if you early voted, go vote again tomorrow. One more times not going to hurt.' Louisianans, like Americans in many states, had the option of either voting 'early' or showing up on Election Day. Taking advantage of both options would be a crime. And for voters worried about criminal fraud charges, Cravins said he had an insurance policy the re-election of a Democratic district attorney...'Tomorrow were gonna elect Earl Taylor as the D.A. so he wont prosecute you if you vote twice,' Cravins said. Taylor won a fourth term on Nov. 4...Cravins' remarks were met first by laughs and then by wild cheers. Mary Landrieu's campaign did not respond to a request for comment.
The run-off election between Obama rubber stamp Mary Landrieu and Republican doctor Bill Cassidy is this Saturday, December 6th. Only vote once, Louisianans.
What’s the use of being a liberal if you can’t lie, cheat, steal, and vote multiple times?
You won’t get prosecuted, but you won’t get paid much either, because the Dems shut off the money to Mary.
So, does this qualify as conspiracy or incitement?
Oh, wait, they’re going to elect a Democrat DA, so no one will be prosecuted.
Says a lot about the the quality of Democrat candidates and the rule of law.
I think the only way to prevent this is voter ID and the Iraqi Purple Finger.
No free fried chicken tomw?
Ha ha!
and the death penalty if you do more than once.
That is the only way the rats win elections. They have no shame whatsoever
I agree
The mayor said if they voted early, to go vote again. That will not happen. When a voter votes early, beside the name is marked Voted. The voter will not be able to vote again the next day nor on election day as on election day the judge uses the list that has Voted by the names of those who have already early voted. The voter is not allowed to vote again.
“It is the will of Landrieu” The Archons will assimilate you if you do not vote several times for Democrats.
The rule of law...breakers.
Obviously the DemocRATS have figured out that Eric the Holder is a Fluken moron who is too lazy to do the job he is being paid by the taxpayers to do. Flippin’ malingerer.
Didn’t the founders say that this constitution republic thingie mabob only worked with an honest moral citizenry?
They never are prosecuted. Laws don’t apply to liberals.
Off topic: If you took that picture of Mary Landrieu and morphed it with a decent picture of Meg Ryan you’d probably get a pretty reasonable facsimile of one of my sisters-in-law.
Random, I know, but I thought I’d share.
My FRiend, you have not lived close enough to Louisiana. In some Parishes, of course it can happen, but not near as much as in the past.
Don’t think Mary has much to offer enough Louisiana voters to entice a major cheat. She’s about to get Wendy’d.
