Senators John McCain and Ted Cruz don’t exactly have the best relationship. Cruz has said Republicans like McCain are why their party doesn’t do better, and McCain has not been shy about publicly dumping on Cruz, especially during last year’s government shutdown.
And in a new interview with Salon today, McCain wanted to make it clear that the incoming crop of Republicans that will give their party control of the Senate will not be Cruzes. McCain even claimed that a lot of the GOP Senate candidates who won are in the same mold as himself and Lindsey Graham.

Yes, we need a truyly national party. For now, it may have to be a coalition of state parties we can take.
(If there is an established, ballot qualified third party (or fourth, fifth, etc.) in your state, especially if it’s new and has little membership, join and take it over.)

McCain’s sole purpose being in the Senate seems to be to discredit the GOP Conservatives for the Dems and carry their water for them. I can not think of any one Republican who did more to make certain that Obama would win in 2008. McCain needs to be invited to leave the GOP, relieved of all chairmanships, and cut off from any future GOP help.

I was watching Fox today and was, as usual, shocked that they had McCain on for an interview.
He (in the philosophical sense)is why I bitch constantly about keeping his ideological brethren out of office and out of the GOP. Because they become him. Eventually, whether they want to accept that or not, it always comes true.
Any good his service had done has long since been wiped out by his backstabbing, Democrat-ass-kissing traitorous behavior.
He needs to go. Arizona, find a way to recall his ass and throw him out to pasture.
