Senators John McCain and Ted Cruz dont exactly have the best relationship. Cruz has said Republicans like McCain are why their party doesnt do better, and McCain has not been shy about publicly dumping on Cruz, especially during last years government shutdown.
And in a new interview with Salon today, McCain wanted to make it clear that the incoming crop of Republicans that will give their party control of the Senate will not be Cruzes. McCain even claimed that a lot of the GOP Senate candidates who won are in the same mold as himself and Lindsey Graham.

I second the motion.
There are several of us anxiously waiting to hear the words “We were wrong”. I wonder if there are any with the integrity to speak them.
We anxiously await hearing them as it would mean people realized the truth of the GOP. We are however, not EXPECTING to hear them.
Amen, and take your brain dead daughter with you.
I generally dislike their democrat opponents more than the RINO’s. But if a democrat beats McCain, I would not shed many tears.
Ted Cruz should have an equally important meeting to assure that all new senators won’t be the week-kneed finger-in-the-air McCain types.

I really despise that man.
I just moved to AZ, last year and am hoping I do not have to vote against him in the primary in 2016.
Take a hint, John; it is time to just fade away.
McLame campaigned for Cotton in his run for the House. McLame wasn't seen in Ark. in 2014......
Cruz, probably says privately, I’ll see your new Senators and raise you 50 conservative House members.
He's losing it, finally.
McCainiac is delusional.
But, then, he has always been delusional.
Ted Cruz now has a green light to show the world what an obstinate old fool McCain is.
McCain has no coattails, no followers other than Dems & media types.
Full speed ahead, Senator Cruz!
I hear you, usually the beloved "Independents".
I was one of the idiots who voted for Perot in '92 and it gave us slick willie.
In an interview with Salon. Would this be the same Salon that published the articles dissing American Veterans? What the hell is wrong with him?
His goal is to go directly from the Capitol building to the mortuary.
Mom is 102 and going strong.
I give him another 20 yrs minimum.
