Next month, Lesley McSpadden will travel to the Swiss city to seek justice for her own son Michael Brown.
The mother of an unarmed black 18-year-old shot and killed by a white policeman in Ferguson, Missouri is to take her sons case to the United Nations in Geneva.
Accompanied by family lawyers and human rights activists, Lesley McSpadden will travel to the Swiss city next month to testify on her own son Michael Brown, shot by Officer Darren Wilson this August in Feguson, Missouri, and other victims of police violence, to the UN Committee of Torture.
"It's actually covered by article one of the convention against torture," Justin Hansford, a law professor at Saint Louis University and co-author of a brief to the UN body filed by Brown's family and local activists, told VICE News. "When the government has all the guns, all the force, and when they can kill people with impunity and without fear of being found guilty of a crime, that's a classic example of state violence."(continued)

It’s certainly what the UN wants.
oops.... yes was he a bastard
How is Mom going to get her boxes of “Justice for Mike” T-shirts, coffee mugs, refrigerator magnets, and mouse pads through Swiss customs?
There are a lot of people here who don’t have a tv or read the papers. I can see why, they are easily replaced by the real events of the day.
Sometime recently the world turned upside down or the poles reversed or some such, but it gets crazier everyday.
Who is paying for it? And it should be noted that reps of the Obola regime are going, too. Ten bucks says WE are paying for it..
The Swiss would no more buy that crap than they would a Cambodian watch.
The lawyer hoping to get rich down the road off her son's basic criminality and her failure to teach him right from wrong (i.e. lawsuit).
Excuse me?! Isn't this the very definition of all those socialist "paradises" we backwards Americans are supposed to aspire to?!?!
I dunno, but the odds are good.
Wow. No kidding. Brilliant observation.
Then he shouldn't be indicted, arrested, or convicted.
You don’t suppose that the ‘little’ shopkeeper that MB tossed aside like yesterdays cat box litter bag would be allowed to testify on behalf of the officer and the others that help defend him from the Michael Browns’ of the World?
Or maybe a group such as the one that is making celebrities of the Trayvon and Mike parents would be willing to sponsor a tour of the country FOLLOWING the celebrity victims whose precious little children (s/s) so he could testify against the behavior etc.
Did the President and DOJ acknowledge the REAL victims in the above two cases?
Nah, the main job is to exonerate the CRIMINALS.
If the ‘good people’ of Ferguson want to sack, loot and burn their town, let them - no police intervention - just plenty of cameras recording the mayhem then ARREST the felons and give them the ‘free’ ride they will so likely deserve - for 10-20 years, at least.
In a just world, a good portion of BO and his goons would be sharing the 3 hots and a cot or whatever the prison fare is these days, right along with them.
Maybe we should raise $ to send Mrs. Daniel Faulkner to Geneva to represent the police officers shot in the line of duty by perps like Michael Brown.
Michael tried his damnedest NOT to be ‘unarmed.’ He tried to arm himself with Officer Wilson’s gun. Failed, of course.
The $1,400 stolen from Granny?
Maybe Mom and Granny can sell a few T Shirts, while they are in town. From opposite sides of the street, of course ;)
Send her ass to Liberia or some other Western African Hell hole if she is unhappy with the treatment she receives in the United States. Better yet, let her stay in Brussels. Last I heard no one is required to remain in America. We are not North Korea. Not happy? Take it on the heal and toe and STFU!
How is she going to make her point?
If you remember, the Swiss dissed Oprah.
Ain’t no black people living in Switzerland, except for American GI deserters, or those attached to federal offices, both overt and covert.
Maybe the mother of the Virginia serial killer, Jesse Matthews, can join her. The authorities have already linked him to 5 rapes and murders and there are another 15 or 20 that he is a likely suspect.
the authorities are targeting him - and his DNA that he left at the scene. It’s racial and unfair.
Oh for God’s sake.
Seems like there's plenty of room in front of these Geneva shops...
... for something like this:
True.
