A bit longer. But yes, with good care patients mainly recover quickly or die a little less quickly. With poor care they recover slowly or die fairly quickly. It is up to the patient to create antibodies, modern medicine cannot do that (for this virus yet).

Nina is cured but is she still carrying the virus? I ask this because we’ve been told that men can carry the virus in their semen (what was it?) 90 days? after ‘cure’, and semen being a body fluid... I guess the corresponding for women is sweat or saliva? Is it ok for someone to go to Disneyland the day after they’re discharged from the hospital or are post-hospital precautions advised?

Just curious, I’m not saying she didn’t have Ebola, just asking how we the public KNOW that she did. We know she had Ebola because government officials told the press who dutifully reported it?

I wonder if she knows that, had Obama banned incoming flights from liberia, she would never have caught ebola at all.

Is this the only picture? Because she doesn’t look very happy here. For a photo op, they surely had some better pics.
Then again she might have been tired, wore out from her ordeal and maybe just wanted to go home and lie in her own bed.
...and when the ‘interview/photo op’ ended, Obama probably just got up and left without as much as a thank you or good bye. And the SS promptly told Ms. Pham ‘That’s all, not get the ef out of here and leave your overlords alone’.
I bet the end was something like that. She probably had to pay her own way home too.
