Intimidation and cowering by terror.
Canada Soldiers told not to wear uniforms in public
****
That reminds me of the Afgans who we trained as soldiers...when they see the enemy, they take off their uniforms and flee.
I guess your comment was directed toward the Canadian Military for whom I have no idea about their manliness.
But, I can say that I had the pleasure of meeting two boat mounted RCMP’s on the Yukon River this past June. I was about 125 miles downriver from Whitehorse and definitely in the middle of proverbial NO WHERE when they over took me in my boat as I was floating down the Yukon River.
As I was by myself and in a 21’ all aluminum boat instead of a kayak, and “getting on up there” chronologically, we had a long conversation and they helped me with my GPS. LOL, I think from their perspective their “long conversation” was geared toward ascertaining in a friendly way whether or not I was insane...........being by myself.
Notwithstanding, I can tell all that no two finer young men and/or police officers exist on this planet and there sure as hell was no question about their manliness. I was most impressed with both of them and count that experience as one of my best for the trip.
Dave MacDonald ‘Mac’ is a good buddy of mine, things like this happen, makes me miss my time in.
10 years and 3 tours later is enough though.

It is the Muslims who should be required to wear western, Canadian clothing. They wear their garb as a direct challenge to our way of life. It is the apparel of threat. It may be sheepishly referred to as “our religious tradition” but it means that it will be Canada that bends the knee and grovels at the feet of Islam. Because Canada has lost it’s faith it cannot project a power capable of defeating this assault. Liberalism, which is altogether without convictions except for the conviction that having convictions is passé, cannot and will not withstand the force of a people who are passionately engaged with a penultimate vision. The only hope for Canada (and the West at large) is to return to its spiritual past and re-discover the trunk and root of the tree that nurtured its blooming. That tree is the Torah, the Eitz Chaim, the Tree of Life.
“deficient kids “
Well, looks who is making fun of someone.
Arm them with at least a sidearm instead and the crap will cease.
Bass ackwards policy. Arm the troops.
Trottin’ out World’s UGLIEST Man, eh? That guy gets a lot of mileage, LOL.

Support for the Palestinians
Canada recognizes the Palestinian right to self-determination and supports the creation of a sovereign, independent, viable, democratic and territorially contiguous Palestinian state, as part of a comprehensive, just and lasting peace settlement.
Canada recognizes the Palestinian Authority (PA) as the governmental entity in the West Bank and Gaza. Canada also recognizes the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) as the principal representative of the Palestinian people Canada continues to support Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and is working with the government led by Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah in terms of much needed reform.
Working with its partners and through the United Nations, its agencies and other organizations, Canada continues to support and respond to the humanitarian and development needs of the Palestinian people. The Great Canadian Debate: Muslim immigration a threat to Canada yea or nay.
Robert Sibley
Updated: May 18, 2014
The Macdonald-Laurier Institute is to be applauded for including a rather touchy topic in its Great Canadian Debates series. In a country where multiculturalism is holy writ and political correctness keeps many cowed, it takes audacity to ask whether the presence of Muslims in Canada is a threat to Canadian society.
On Thursday, Feb. 27, at 7 p.m. the Institute will have two prominent commentators, the Globe & Mails Doug Saunders and Salim Mansur, a political scientist at the University of Western Ontario and a regular columnist for the Sun newspaper chain, square off on the resolution that Muslim immigration is no threat to Canada or the West.
This resolution is a much contested statement with high passions for those who believe, and those who dont, that Muslim immigration is a demographic and political threat to Western culture, the Institute says. Those who see a threat from Islam look to violent incidences in France, the UK, Sweden and the Netherlands. Others argue that immigration levels of Muslim dont warrant much concern.
It seemed obvious when I posted that the “Wussies” in question were the politicians who would not allow the good military folks to wear their uniforms proudly.
But, sometimes what’s obvious to me escapes others.
Whats The Latest Tonight In Iowa?
****
GOOD GRIEF, and the reponders to the question covered for him.
The appropiate answer should have been...”I don’t know, Al. Is there something going on in Iowa? We’ve been busy covering what’s been going on with the shootings in Canada”
........thanks for the clarification. I thought I was equally “obvious” in trying to make the distinction that my comment was relative to RCMP’s and “manliness” NOT the Canadian Military for whom I have little knowledge and no first hand knowledge.
