For conservatives, the stakes in this election could hardly be higher. The course could not be more clear.
If...
...should have taught conservatives anything, it's that there are worse dangers to life, liberty, and property than returning Thad Cochran and Pat Roberts to the Senate.

You might notice the GOPE is not running on anything
“... because a cohort of die-hard conservative purists cannot bring themselves to choose between the lesser of two evils?”.
Well, uhm, jack ass.
That they are on the bubble by their own partt ought to ache their conscience and inform them they damned well better figure out whose side they ought to be on.
I take it the author schilled for Romney?
‘... because a cohort of die-hard conservative purists cannot bring themselves to choose between the lesser of two evils?’
Oh my...so our evil isn’t as bad as their evil. Hmmm, seems this author has gone hook, line and sinker for moral relativism. A reall republican fan by. OK, when both result in evil will he be surprised? I rather suspect he won;t notice if its a republican in office. Said another way, our despot is better than your despot. In the end we’re governed by a despot....how can this be good?
This is idiocy because THE LEFT WON'T LEAVE YOU ALONE.
I hope if there are any cynical types reading this, they will understand that if they don't pick up the gauntlet and get in the fight, the Left will be kicking in your door and dragging you and your family away as soon as they possibly can.
Since Mitch is not likely to be ditched, Thad needs to be targeted for retirement. He is an egregious example of a Senator well past his expiration date.
dear republican establishment: you want our vote?
give us something to vote for!
we should not have to hold our noses and vote for whatever candidate YOU foist upon us
we should not have to vote for the lesser of two evils.
replacing big left wing government with big right wing government is a no-win situation. they are two sides of the same coin, and neither is supportive of the concept of FREEDOM.
if you don’t give us a candidate to support, why should we support them?
if you can’t listen to us, why should we listen to you?
Only after most of us run out of ammo.
Yet another rah-rah attempt by the GOPE apologist. These are so predictable at this point. All of the loses are on the conservatives who let the Party down and the GOPE, why they are as pure and altruistic in their actions as the wind driven snow fought so valiantly against the democrats all the while trying to emulate them.
GOPE you treated your conservative base like crap, dumped all over them and called the racist kooks and worse still you actually believed all the BS you shoveled since 2011 and now it’s dawning on you that you might lose and where do you run too? Not with hat in hand to apologize for your stupidity but to give the conservative base another good slap upside the head and then tell them you made me do that to you again, it’s your fault.
I am still amazed at how many “conservatives” still fall for this blather, apologize and make excuses for them and then beg for more of the lash from the GOPE scum.
This message sponsored by that GOP-e
“We stand for everything except the Constitution!”
Post that again. :)
The left won’t leave you alone, it’s inherent in their ideology, and if you don’t conform or resist, they’ll eventually come to your door and drag your family away.
You will be made to care!
I'm trying to figure out what exactly is going to change in the next two years if the GOP wins control of the Senate, and I'm drawing a huge blank on this one.
2014 might be remembered as one of the most inconsequential elections of my lifetime.
I assert that the GOPe doesn’t want the Senate because they’ll be expected to oppose Obama.
I see the panic setting in. I see pleas for more money as they are not meeting their fundraising goals.
I SEE HOW THESE A-HOLES F’D THEMSELVES AND NOW WANT TO BLAME OTHERS FOR THEIR FAILURE.
How despicable these people are.
I have often wondered what I would have done on 9-11 trapped on a WTC floor with a fireball raging all around me and a window open for me to get a few seconds of relief from the intense and fatal heat. I would have jumped.
But I would have jumped for those few seconds of cool air and not for the GOPe.
It would explain why we're less than a month away from Election Day, and the GOP political machine has been blathering away for months about how important it is to win control of the Senate ... but nobody can tell me what the hell the GOP stands for.
> “I hope if there are any cynical types reading this, they will understand that if they don’t pick up the gauntlet and get in the fight, the Left will be kicking in your door and dragging you and your family away as soon as they possibly can.”
PURE UNADULTERATED BULLSHIT!
Americans are armed to the teeth and will blow away anyone that tries to kick their doors in.
Your scare tactics won’t work.
The GOPe is progressive and will be doing the same as the Left. That is the dilemma.
There’s a lot of truth in that little statement...
By “not caring” about the same things that liberals care about, you are inherently challenging their righteousness.
Liberals, rejecting God, derive their sense of righteousness from what they care about, and if you imply through “not caring” that it’s not worth caring about, you’re saying that their caring doesn’t matter.
And that’s an insult worth killing over.
